A friend just recommended this book to me.
I've read sum reviews of it on Amazon and it seems like it mighty be a pretty good book.
I got a coupon from Borders for 25 % off of one book and it'll either be Priest Vol 1 or Naruto Vol 1.

OK.
I finally decided to read scans and buy books of this series but the scans only go up to volume 8.
Does anyone know where i can find scans of this past volume 8 or should I just look into buying the books?

Yeah i read the first one and im going to buy the second one in a couple of days.
They are pretty good.

I got a couple volumes.. somewhere. I picked them up a while back, but like a number of manga series, I either lost track or my store forgot about it.

Interesting enough this is actuallya Korean book, making it manhwa not manga. It was also part of TokyoPop original launch line of full volume manga. There've been talks of a Hollywood adaptation for years, but who knows how those things go.

I've got the first three, the main character reminds me strongly of the Saint of Killers, for some reason.

Still, it's a cool manga.

I have a few volumes and I like it so far, though I do hope that the flashback ends soon after two and a half volume.

Priest is not a manga, but a manhwa. But if you enjoy horror/terror/action so you should give a try...

Yeah, not that I endorse the bad blood between Korea and Japan, but I do think it's unfair to call something Korean by a Japanese name. I think TokyoPop should be ashamed for publishing that name on the back of the book. Make it manhwa or the English term graphic novel. Calling it manga is insulting and dumbed down.

(Not that I blame any readers or commenters here for using the wrong term if the publisher labels it wrong. It's TokyoPop's job to correctly represent its product.)
