The first issue didn't impress me but it was mostly a recap of the ongoing so I didn't expect a whole lot.

Well, it's good to have a recap, so all the parties are clear to the reader.
It's cool to see Chamber burning the .... out of wolverine and awesome to see Agent Zero again. I like him much more this way, compaired to his Marverick days.
I really wonder what they will do with the inmates of Neverland.

I know its good to have a recap... but I knew what happened so I wasn't impressed. I'll still be getting the rest of the series as I know the recap was needed for fans who didn't read the series or have forgotten.

I enjoyed it a lot. Lots of fun to be had with this book.
I just hope that they arent going to battle sentinels in the DOFP, because of Excalibur 66-67. That would make me so mad.

I liked it, it has an interesting story and I'm always up for some military covertness.

First off, I LOVED the art. I did not think I would enjoy Bart Sears' work, but this was truly something. (And before anyone gets all clever, I do mean something good.) :D
Also, for a recap issue, it was not bad at all. Pretty cool, really. It had its faults, but I'm interested in all the scheming going on and this years-spanning style of storytelling is exciting.
I'm onboard for this mini. :)

I thought it was a rather poor starting issue.
I've read every single issue of Weapon X, knew everything that was going on that was supposed to be recapped, and the poor storytelling still had me doing double checks on the panels to figure out exactly what was going on at times.
I can only imagine what a new reader would be experiencing.
