it is where phoenix goes to incubate, i think. kind of an in-between place of reality.
sublime is a sentient bacteria that can exist in unlimited lifeforms. it has been around since the beginning of time and in new x-men it was transmuted through the drug kick (whomever took the drug heavily eventually became infected).

The White Hot Room is the place you go to in the Marvel Universe when you die. It's whatever you think the afterlife is. Everyone is just in one room, though. So if it's heaven, a dark tunnel, the Land of the Shades, etc. that's the white hot room for you.

The White Hot Room is the core of creation, the heart of the Phoenix. It's a focal point where anything is possible. The White Hot Room first appeared within the M'Krann Crystal in Uncanny X-Men #108, although Grant Morrison name the place.
