I chose Kitty because about 15 years ago when I first started reading X-Men, I wanted to be Kitty Pryde.

The DC Universe forum may not be the best place for an X-Men poll.

Emma Frost.

Shouldn't this be in the X-Men forum?

I voted for Cyclops, because as a kid, I could identify with a skinny guy who wore glasses.

This poll is probably here because the original poster assumes that DC fans don't normally follow the X-Men closely. That may not have been true in the past, but since the mutant titles have kind of drifted off into their own separate place, I can understand why the two fanbases would tend to be different now.

Huh?

None of the above. My favorite X-man was Cannonball. I know he was not there long, but he rocked.

Wolverine, because he's the only one who can carry a solo book. No, but when he came out he was really unique. His attitude and abilities really cause him to stand out from all of the heroes that have come before him. He's been overused like crazy, but I don't think that's hurt the core of the character at all. I think he's here to stay, like Superman and Batman.

Bad poll, no offense. At least put an other option. These never work.

Phoenix (Rachel Summers) is my favorite.

Wolverine!!!

A multi-layered, long-historied character who continually strives to live up to a code of honor while simultaneously looking dang fine with his uniform half torn off.

What more could a woman want? :D

Psylocke (among others)

Emma Frost. She is like the "bad" good guy. One of those telepaths who actually use her power as a regular human being would - looking into others minds without permission. Plus she causes such fun tension between just about everyone on the team.

Psylocke ... but in the Lee/Kubert days. I think the latest renditions of Psylocke blow. She looks to anime inspired and as far as im concerned, we can leave anime at the door when it comes to American comics.

Juggernaught if you count him. Just because I always have and always will.

Polaris because I dig green hair on girls (only in comics and stuff) and because I think she has some potential areas to explore since the Genosha event ... Only time will tell I guess.

and would this poll have been very accurate

noooo
:P If you were going for accuracy, then I think it would have been best if you didn't use a poll at all.
Somebodies always going to complain when you only put 10 X-Men in it.

Bobby has been my favorite X-Man since before I even read comics and just looked at the pictures in them (like when I was around Six years old)

I see no Gambit so I see no need to vote in this poll.

Wolverine. Even though he has been watered down and over used over the past 15 years, he is still the most interesting X-Men member by far. No other X-men member past or present even comes close, which is why he is the only X-Men character that has carried an ongoing series steadly over the last 20 years. The fans have spoken with their money.

Let's do a round robin with this poll and do two more installments. When we're done with all 3, we can pit the top 2 of each poll into one super poll and decide who's the most popular that way!

Most of the ones up there are the more classic characters. Currently, my favorite X-Man is Bishop but my older favorites are Nightcrawler, Collossus, and Beast. It's a hard decision but I'll go with Beast. Big, strong, smart, and he has fat feet and hands. Reminds me of someone I know. ;)

Colossus - i've just always loved the "brawler" in every crew (even though i do kind of like Nightcrawler too... and Wolverine is a fav but he's a bit too overplayed).
