congratulations...

which still seems awkwardly out of place...

... so perhaps I should just wish you the best of luck with the surgery and hope it'll be the last time you'll ever hear a doctor say that you have cancer.

Truely a BIG sigh of relief. If I may , what type of cancer were they looking for? Ovarian?

*high-fives* Congrats, Chris!

To be honest, I didn't know(/recall ?) what was ailing you. At the point I jumped in, everyone who referred to the situation seemed to do so kinda like how they refer to their significant others... like everyone else already knew the deal. I did NOT want to be the one to ask you or your loved ones to repeat what must've been scary news... I just knew you were taking it VERY seriously, so I did, as well.

How's the recovery going?

How, pray tell, do you do a little jug?

And was this little jug attached to anyone nice?

Quality news about the results though Sol.

Probably about not being breast fed or something, I'm sure.

Probably about not being breast fed or something, I'm sure.

Except I was.

I broke my leg as a baby and my mom used to tell anyone who would listen how hard it was to breastfeed a kid in a cast.

But enough about me, this thread is about Solaris.

let's talk about her breasts.

They're more interesting, anyway.

You had to mention Solaris's breasts, didn't you. Now I have to calm down.

Great news!

My wife had a lump removed form her breast once - so i can identify with the anxiety, and then the relief (her's was benign too).

Hope you have a speedy recovery.

That's great news, cousin!

The dictionary says "benign" means:

1. Of a kind and gentle disposition.
2. Showing gentleness and mildness.
3. Tending to exert a beneficial influence; favorable

May everything inside your body (permanently or temporarily) always be benign!

Jesus Chris, I feel like an idiot. I haven't been on here as much lately, so I knew you were in the hospital (and I only found that out recently) but I had no idea what you were in there for.

Glad to hear your uterus is in uterastic shape! That is very good news indeed.

Thank you so much, guys! (And Nikita, we scrapped the uterus, but kept the ovaries! heh)

I go in for a checkup tomorrow, to see if I can swim yet. All's gone pretty well, but I'm amazed at how slowly the recovery is going. They weren't kidding about that. I still get some pain at times, I exhaust very easily, and I have to be careful not to overdo stuff or the exhaustion gets worse and the residual bleeding increases. I'm used to recovering a lot faster from things, so this has been an exercise in patience. They say most women don't get fully back for about a year... I hope it doesn't take me *that* long! Anyhow, I'll give a report on what the doc says after I see her. :)
