Hey. This is what happens, sometimes. I can imagine how it looks from your perspective, but the upside is that it may keep the thread alive long enough for the SDCC'ers to respond. Otherwise, like someone already said, it'll probably end up pages back, and your preferred audience wouldn't see it.
Btw, welcome. I've got family in Glen Burnie. In fact, I was up there for a wedding, last year. *shakes hand* Pleased to meet you.

I'm back from my Tuesday to Saturday stay at San Diego!
My flight arrived back in New York at 1.20am in the morning, and I didn't get 'home' until 2.00am. I finally went to sleep at 3.00am; damn jetlag!
So first off, I had a super great time- the weather was absolutely gorgeous compared to New York.
I bought a lot of great stuff at the con(Ed Cunard: you might like some of my SDCC stash).
Oh, and my feet are aching! It's funny because when I first entered the con, it didn't seem that huge... that is until I started walking around. Four (or so) happy hours later, I was hunting for a place to sit down. I attended preview night, Thursday, and Friday.
Last but certainly not least, I had a blast meeting more CBRians. The first 'new' people I met were Cosmic Cat and Smoogis, who came to my room Wednesday morning with Rallura and BB. Later on that day, I met my roomie, K'Nort. Then that afternoon (I apologize if I leave anyone out!): Ronald Bryan, Hawk, Alex, Rags, Darkblade, Tadhag, Phoenixrising, Quarterwolf, Chance (I can't remember your CBR name!), bert, Royal at this lunch place across the street from the hotel.
Later on during my stay I met Fabian, the Macquarries, Punchy, howyadoin, C.O. Jones, Matt Bib, Justin Davis, Guapo Mendez, El Heffe, Starsngarters, Puma, Stonegold, Sir Tim, the helpermonkies- etc.
I didn't take as many photos as I would've liked, but I'll get them developed asap and post them up. (Some other folks took a ton more photos anyway!)
In the meantime, SDCC CBRians can use this thread to post up their stories and photos when they arrive home.
(Can't wait for next year!)

You, sir, are a true American hero.
Actually, kind of funny story about that. More surreal than funny. Anyways, I was wearing a vintage Hulkamania shirt from 1988. I left the con to go to Starbucks and get some caffiene. As I'm walking back, I hear a voice yell out "Hulkamania!" I look, and it's Virgil, Ted DiBiase's bodyguard. Now, granted, seeing Virgil at a comic convention is nothing to write home about. He's usually sitting next to Lou Ferigno and Boomer from Battlestar Galactica selling autographs. But somehow, walking back from Starbucks and having him yell out Hulkamania at me felt incredibly surreal.

Just got home from SDCC. :)
All in all, I had a good time, but getting there was more of an adventure than I counted on. I'd planned on driving there, but last minute automobile-related issues forced me to take a train instead. I'm glad I did. It was a great experience (although kind of hectic as the entire train schedule was thrown together an hour before I departed).
Because I'm a cheapskate, and because I booked relatively late, my hotel wasn't anything to write home about: a Days Inn four miles from the Mexican border. Getting to the convention center from that locale took some calling in of old favors.
CBRers encountered: First thing I did upon arriving at the Con on Saturday morning was to visit Koop's Comics, for two reasons. First, I owed Koop some money for some comics I purchased from him a while back. Second, I knew it was CBR Central Station. It didn't take long for me to meet up with Sir Tim Drake (Aaron Kashtan). I kept on running into Sir Tim throughout the Con for the rest of the day. Other CBRers encountered included Jonah and DarkBlade. :)
Saw lots and lots of stuff. Bought some comics and a few DVDs available nowhere else. Had dinner with some old and new friends. Attended two panels: ROBOTECH (be quiet, Matt...) and DC Comics. Spent most of my time at the DC booth, the Bandai booth, the STAR WARS booth, and the Toynami booth.
CBRers missed: Azangel, Cei-U!, fly on the wall, Brandon Hanvey and Promethea, and assorted others. :(
Planning to do it all again next year, and hope that the missing CBRers from this year will be back at the Con in '06. :)

Hey dere folks.
Mr. McPuncherson is back from the Con. hoywadoin is sitting right here--lucky me!
We both had a great time. I'm sure there will plenty of inside jokes and stories told about our SD adventures later, so I won't go into anything right now. Let me just say there are a lot of cool folks at CBR and it was good to spend time with them.
I got a lot of good comics and partied my ass off.
In other words ...
I GOT R' DONE!!
I expect a Lena Corruption Report no later than Tuesday.
I tried, but unfortunately we didn't get to spend that much time together. And I don't know if Lena's a little shy or just quiet, but after a couple of short conversations I couldn't see getting a bunch of booze down her throat an easy task.
But what an adorable accent.

But what an adorable accent.

Well, it wasn't exactly Bluto Blutarsky action, but I guess close enough to impress everyone else. Although I guess it does open me up to jokes about relaxing the gag reflex. Although it was so sheer damn manly, no one at the time thought of it.

I mean, not only was a member of our party struck by a moving vehicle during a party, but he was then subjected to medical care from a drunk chick (me) and a turtle (Smoogis) before being shipped to a real hospital.
All in just one episode of CBR-911.

Rally told me all about that when I called her up early Sunday morning (Eastern time). I was shocked; I went to my room at about 1.30am, so I missed it all.
I feel very sorry for Chance. I wonder, will he press charges? Did the motorist stop to make sure he was okay?

MacQuarrie
07-18-2005, 11:10 PM
I'm back home and exhausted.
MacQuarrie adventure: When I took Greg and Julie over to the hotel to exchange various forgotten items and make final goodbyes to the stragglers, somebody (Rin?) noticed a puddle under the Canyonero. I looked at it and decided it probably had been there when I pulled in.
So then I took the Hatchers and nephew Aerin to the airport and then headed up 5 to the rest stop the other side of Camp Pendleton to meet up with my bride and children.
When I got out of the car, I was greeted by a rushing tide of water. My water pump had disassembled itself. Abandoning my family to the wilds of the rest area, I drove the Toyota back to Oceanside and found a NAPA auto parts shop. I acquired a new water pump ($65.00) and headed back to the dead Jeep.
If anybody asks, the serpentine belt on the 1983 Jeep Wagoneer is a colossal pain in the ass.
I eventually got the old water pump out and was fighting the battle to move some of the parts from it to the new one, particularly the studs that hold the fan on. I could not loosen three of them, and after fighting with it for about ten minutes I was ready to throw the thing off a cliff. Meanwhile, my bride was quietly praying, mostly for my sanity but also for a solution to the problem. At that moment, a fella walked over and asked if I needed to borrow some tools. I showed him the problem and he immediately told me the trick to getting them loosened (if you're curious, it's easy; screw two nuts onto the post and tighten them against each other, then use a wrench on the inside nut; it will unscrew the post instead of taking the nuts off).
Eventually (over five hours later) I had it all back together and running better than it had in weeks. We got back on the road and got home at 10:30 on the button.
I have no pictures, I have very little gossip, I got to spend far too little time with the hotel contingent. The Weenie Roast was a blast as usual. I have some ideas for next year, pending approval from various gatekeepers.
Just about everybody was cooler than I imagined they would be. I was a little nervous about meeting bert, but he was really great, as were Cosmic and Smoogis, Starngarters, K'Nort, Lena, and bunches of other folks whose names escape me. It was also great to see the many returning people, and especially Guapo, whom I haven't seen since Grendel's wedding (what has it been, nine years now?) Anyway, you all rock, and if I left you out it wasn't a personal slight; my brain doesn't work right now.
My hands hurt, my back hurts, I'm filthy and exhausted, but I wanted to post and say woohoo! CBR rocks.
By the way, Guapo's family is fine; he goes back home on Wednesday.

Anyway, I had a complete blast and I'm definitely glad I made it. Everyone was extremely cool and I had fun hanging out with everyone.
The Con itself was neat, though admittedly I enjoyed the hanging out more. But I did buy some trades and comics, including some old Marvel GN's from Koop.
I was actually trying to get in on the Vegas trip but it would have cost me $700 to go, so I had to say no. But I'm betting Alex and Fabian are married by now. Or Ronald's lying dead in a ditch in Reno.

Random bits and pieces from me:
MacQuarrie's daughter Katie, while incredibly adorable, is violent. She doesn't just have a mean left hook, but a right one too along with a firm kick. Ow.
Fabian can't hold his liquor worth a damn.
Waaaayyy too much needless drama for me. Too many times, people were overly non-confrontational and apprehensive about decisions. My repeated phrases to many people over the course of the last few days? Fuck it and pull back.
Bruce Campbell and Seth Green rock. I know, duh, but still, I have to say it.
Drinking in a hot tub with other people? Sure, I can do that. Three nights in a row? Yeah, why not, sounds good to me.
I'm not a big fan of walking up the forty-five degree angled hills in San Diego.
On that same note, Andrea (Cosmic) is freakishly strong. I weigh about 180 pounds right now and she carried me piggy-back style for about two to three blocks through throngs of people in the Gaslamp District on Saturday night after walking around everywhere the last few days. She wasn't even breathing heavy when I jumped off her back. I felt weak next to her afterwards.
I'm still seeing purple spots from Rags's damn flash on his camera.
Chance got hit by a freaking car. I didn't even know who the tall, quiet brooding guy was until the second day and then he gets hit by a freaking car. Good thing we had Rags to pop into all the rooms, yell "Chance got hit by a car," and then take off again. Quite the calming influence he is.
I did what on Saturday night? Nuh uh... I did?
The odd tradition of the CBR hook-up was sustained for some and not for others. You dumbass. I'll let everyone else figure out who that last comment is directed to.
Tadgh, Trix, whatever you want to call him is huggy. "Is he hugging me again? He's hugging me again, isn't he? Yes, Trix, we all love you too."
Jim (Quarterwolf) is one of the coolest and most generous guys ever. Serioulsy.
I may find it hard to call people by their CBR names now that I have gotten used to calling them by their real names. However, I didn't know Guapo was not Guapo's name until just hours before I left. It's Antonio. I just thought his parents were nice and hopeful.
Alex is cool. He sounds almost exactly like a friend of mine from college too. He's still gay with that frosted hair though. More than once I said, "Bert's less gay than Alex."
Guapo brought all kinds of cool food from home. The best of which was this dark, smoky flavored habenero hot sauce that I put on my cheeseburgers at the weenie roast.
More later, I'm sure.

Actually, there was nothing but love. Fabian and I were throwing up some westside gang signs at the Weenie Roast but that's as far as it got.
And if you're talking who would be the #1 pick in a drinking contest howy would win hands down.
Alex puked during the pub crawl after all. Howy drank for a solid 12 hrs or so and kept it all down.
Puma’s CBR Con Prowl- done delicately on two burned paws*
Arrived for preview night at 2pm. Waiting in line, occasionally dialing CBRers to see if anyone was around. After an hour dialed K’Nort *woo hoo she’s in line* brief description of where I am “under “C”, do you see the bus that’s packing up?” K’Nort: “yeah, I’m by the rear tires” me: “?” “I’m at the back of the bus, what are you wearing?” Turns out two people separated us, so one CBRer met. We get our passes and head to a pub and to move my car from the most expansive lot ever. Rally calls, she and others are getting their passes and meeting up. Off we go to meet: Bert, Cosmic, Smoogis, Quarterqolf, Ranarok, Chance, Royal, Lena, Howyadoin, PhoenixRising, Darkblade, Tadgh, BouncingBoy, Rallura.. if I left anyone out so sorry! Once the doors to the main floor open we’re off to Koop’s booth! QW, Chance, Rags, and me head off to spend copious amounts of money at the half-price trade booths while the rest of the pack splits up, planning to meet for dinner. Then off to Horton’s Plaza where Ronald, Alex, Fabian, Justin (did I meet you earlier?) and (I’m sure) others joined us; after eating the wild ones headed off to the hotel for some drinking while I headed off on my drive out of San Diego to Escondido.
Thursday my husband joined me; Collin is not a comic geek but indulges me. I lost count how many times we saw Sir Tim Drake on the main floor. I found more Trades, leather wrist cuffs, a black renfaire type tunic, a batman key-ring, talked with a few creators- got a great “Martin the Satanic Raccoon” pin- ran into some friends from Santa Cruz, and then sat and watched the world go by before heading towards Koop booth to take him and his helper monkeys to the weenie roast.
Weenie Roast- wow! What a crowd! Madman Dan, StarsandGarters, Elhefe, Guapo, Punchy, the MacQuarries, the Hatchers, and all the rest. Big KUDOS and thanks to Mrs. MacQuarrie!!!! Sat and chatted with Smoogis! That was fun, and with Bert, also big fun! Just for the record- Quarterwolf is the nicest guy! And Rags knows way too much about Battlestar Galatica, scary. Around 10ish MattBib arrived! Finally met him and then I had to leave, damn. I was still debating attending on Friday when we got to the car and turned the key- the starter stuck! Horrible noise. Collin knew what to do and we made it back to his parents but there was no way I was taking a questionable car (that we needed to drive 8 hours home in) down to San Diego so that was the end of my CBR/Con prowl. I feel like I missed so much.
* about the paws. On Monday I was doing chores around my in-laws place. At one point I was cleaning the carpets so I took off my shoes and didn’t put them back on. I then went out in the shade covered carport and cut up branches and whatnot from the mornings pruning of the oleanders. Not really thinking about 95f temperatures and white concrete I headed down the drive (barefooted) to put the yard waste out for pickup. I did this twice before the thought entered my brain that my feet we’re unpleasantly warm; hot in fact. I walked/hopped quickly back under the shade and they weren’t cooling off, so I stood in the fountain. By 8pm I had blisters on the balls of my feet, heels, and down the outsides, I could barely walk- just before a Con that stretches approximately 5 miles through booths and displays. Stupid me, blisters before!

You are what is known as a "Two-Way Starter" then. Good to have on the team.
I had no idea Alex puked. I know Fabian did twice one night. The same night Andrea was drawn on.
I guess drawn on is better than puked on, huh?

You have to chug it because the Bailey's will curdle if you don't drink it fast enough. Alex and I both don't like Guinness, but loved Irish Car Bombs. They taste like chocolate shakes. Well, very quickly drunk chocolate shakes.
I had no idea Alex puked. I know Fabian did twice one night. The same night Andrea was drawn on.
Fabian puked two nights in a row. The first night was because of the tequila Guapo brought from home that it looked like Fabian had an allergic reaction to. His face was all red and blotchy, but he still liked the foreign-brought tequila.
Hawk totally welched on the bet with Andrea. He stopped drinking, but still said he'd draw on her if she slept. Welcher! We could've drawn the entire Louvre Museum's set of paintings on Royal for the amount of times he kept falling asleep in people's rooms and other places.

I'm back. It was a long trip, and one of my flight's was delayed by over an hour, but I am safe & sound in my secret underground bunker.
*I took about 260 pictures on Wednesday & Thursday...but my camera was broken (Thursday night maybe?). The lcd display on the back was shattered, and I'm not entirely sure if the pics I took after that will turn out. The guilty party (who was drunk at the time) has offered to pay to replace or repair it, so it's all good.
*Chance is awesome, and a huge fan of Captain America. We tried to get the short sleeve Cap shirts at Graphitti Designs, but they're having legal problems with Marvel and aren't making them at the moment. MacQuarrie's custom-made Cap sweater filled me with envy.
*Chance was hit by a car. It was a hit & run. He had the right of way. I was across the street when it happened. He has a couple stitches next to his eyebrow, a scuffed knee and a scuffed arm. He was very lucky (or mildly unlucky depending on how you look at things). There were 3 witnesses in addition to Chance (myself and a couple standing on the corner). The guy didn't see anything. The girl simply heard a crunch sound. I saw a white car with a boxy back end. It's extremely unlikely that this person will get caught.
*At the Weenie Roast, I grappled with Royal. I am proud to say that I submitted him via neck crank (the Crucifix :D)!
*The bear that Alex forced to smoke is now chained down.
*Chocolate/Lena is gorgeous, and I could listen to her voice all day....unless new episodes of Battlestar Galactica were on...in which case I'd only listen to her lovely voice during commercials.
*John Kerry likes to wear costumes.
*My first question upon meeting Punchy: "What's Spike like in real life?" His response: "He's an asshole." :D
*Smoog is clicking, she's clicking, she's clicking.
*Irish Pub. The Field. Rocks. Highly recommended.
*The restaurants generally had excellent food and mediocre service. And it was a bit pricey. The company was, of course, most excellent.
*Koop rocks!
*Cei U was much missed.
*Fabian is a prince, even if he wussed out about wearing the Sub-Mariner costume.
*Quarterwolf & Guapo are extremely nice guys.
*Bouncing Boy has an excellent singing voice.
*Matt Bib crushes dreams, but has a pretty smile.
*Quarterwolf has nicknamed Stars & Garters "Stars & Gutters".
*Ron rocks. I think that of all the people at the con he was the one most guilty of burning the candle at both ends.
*Pho does not dig bodybuilders.

Mandy..er... Pho mentioned in the photo thread about her and Alex getting along well. People commented numerous times about that with a chuckle. And, no, they weren't always drunk when they got along. They're both cool people. Plus, I think he was asking her tips on how to get his hair to look as blond and pretty.
Here's an actual tidbit about the convention itself. The Bruce Campbell panel rocked. He had funny stories, hopped up on the soap box more than once to go off on the MPAA ("They can kiss my ass so hard it comes out the front." I'm not even sure what that means, but everyone loved it.) and the recent crop of remakes and retreads in movies, and even correctly called a couple convention goers a moron and an idiot for their asinine comments during the panel.

During the panel, someone stood up and yelled, "When you make love the Bruce Campbell way, do you say, 'Hail to the king, baby'?"
The crowd groaned and Campbell hung his head for a few seconds before lifting it to say, "You, sir, are a moron." We all cheered in agreement.

Apparently, I'm quite the mingler. I moved from group to group a lot.
Here's another convention anecdote:
At one point, I accidentally wandered down what I called the porn aisle. It had a couple booths with women who have obviously had many plastic surgeries to "enhance" themselves, pictures of themselve scantily clad everywhere, and they wore clothing that usually consisted of leather, some string material, and maybe feathers for some odd reason. The other booths on that aisle had adult action figures which is just plain scary and many other things of that sort. Admittedly, while that may sound bad, it wasn't too explicit. There was no visual nudity that I saw. Just close calls.
Anyway, one of the scantily clad surgically-enhanced women with a booth started trying to entice me to come over and look at her stuff. I think her name might have been Cleopatra or something else equally cheesy, but I'm not sure. I was looking for a quick way around the people and out of the aisle when she started hawking her 2006 calendar.
I looked at her and said, "No, thanks. I have a girlfriend. Also, the internet and access to lubrication," and walked away.
Okay, I didn't say the bit about lubrication, but it would've been funnier if I did so from now on when I tell the story, that's what I said.

It was pointless melodrama is all. Best to leave most of it there.
I came within feet of meeting Buried Alien. He was at Koop's booth when I walked by, but I didn't realise it was him even though he had a CBR T-shirt on. I'm still not quite sure why I didn't introduce myself when I saw the shirt.
After seeing the destruction that was the party room of Alex, Fabian, Ronald, and Hawk's, I'm a little less upset I didn't get in that room. Nothing was destroyed in the room, but I feel bad for the poor maids who have to clean it up.

Hi. I'm the guy who got hit by a car. I'm not sure what kind of lasting impression I was planning to leave with the CBR clan during SDCC 2005, but that certainly wasn't it.
Kind of got myself to blame there. I'll be the first to admit I don't post in here very often, and when I do, its usually on the Avengers board with some witty observation about ten thousand other people have noticed before. Wasn't exactly the chatterbox for the first couple of days, either. Point is, I only really chat with QWolf online (though I chat with Cosmic Cat on occasion, and I talk with Rags more now) so I was sort of going in pretty cold when it comes to having to know everyone and having them know me. So, I do what I usually do...I sit, I observe, and I sulk. Justin wrote that I was brooding. Wow...brooding. Like Batman.
So it took me a while to get into the groove of things. Having QWolf there was a godsend. He truly is the nicest guy around, and I'm sure I'm not the only CBRidite to think so (Though I think paying for our final dinner was pushing it a little. Is QW buckin' for sainthood or somethin'??)
Can't say enough nice things about my other roommates Rags and Pheonix Rising. Rags was a blast to be around through the whole convention (thanks for the D&D DVDs), and Pheonix was...well, too cool a chick to be rooming with me. What's wrong with her?? I also can't thank her enough for helping me through my little vehicular incident Saturday morning. You and Smoogis really helped a lot.
Smoogis is a quiet angel of mercy. Am I the only one who just wants to give her a hug?
Oh...and Rags snoring? Yeah, believe it. And Pho thinks she had it rough? I was two feet away. A 747 could have landed in our room and we wouldn't have known it.
After chatting with Andrea (Cosmic Cat) for a long time, it was finally wonderful to meet her in person. It was fantastic to find out she was as fun and goofy (that's a compliment. I mean, look at that hat!) as she seemed to be online.
Is Bert gay? I'm not sure. He sends such mixed signals.
Justin should be on the radio. Seriously.
If Rally plans the rooms for next year, if someone comes up to her about it and starts a sentence with "Hey, I know this guy who can...." She should kick the guy in the nuts.
Talking to Stars was a mixed bag. It was great to see a guy so receptive when someone (me) goes on about how great "Acts of Vengence" was and about Romita Jrs work on "Daredevil". Then it hits me...were those things THAT long ago? Then I start to feel really old.
A bar crawl does NOT start at 2 pm!!
The weenie roast was NOT on a beach like advertised. I mean, I'm from Minnesota for godsake and I still wouldn't call that a beach. And on a related subject, was that what they call grass in San Diego? Do you mow it, or vacuum it?? (Though thanks for the Gardenburgers.)
Every time I saw one of those exact replica Cap T-shirts I wanted to scream. I've wanted one of those things since I was six! And now they don't make them because of some copyright issues. GRRRRR!!
Thanks for Rally and QWolf for sticking at the hospital for four hours while they were patching me up. Quite sad really, considering it would have taken them about ten minutes to do what they did to me. Urine sample (which I did all the work, to be honest), catscan, tetnis shot, stitches. That takes a whole morning?
Marvel's presence at SDCC was so pisspoor it was embarrassing. Joe Q's presence even more so. I wonder if he has "Just wait and see" tattooed on his penis. (Or is that "Dead is dead"?)
Don't let their phony smiles fool ya...the people of San Diego HATE us. Oh, they'll take our money, sure. But other than that...
Bryan Singer hates being in public.
Two seconds of a bald Kevin Spacey smirking with a Kryptonian crystal and I was already forgetting about that stupid Supersuit design.
San Diego is one beautiful city. And an ugly airport.
Doctor Doom? Ultron? I gotta start reading Runaways.
And let us all hope and pray that the person who hit me with his/her car is now so overcome with guilt that they decide to turn over a new leaf, quit abusing alcohol, and never get behind the wheel in that condition again. All that, and a BIG canker sore.
Anyway, I hope to see you all again. Talk to everyone later.

Chance!
I have at least one photo of you smiling, so that will help your rep. And I certainly remember some cheery bits. Esp before the accident, of course. But you did an amazing soldiering-on job.
And Runaways is awesome!!

But Rags did take down Royal at the roast. That was cool.
It was frigging hilarious is what it was. :D
Yeah, yeah. My venture into beatting up heavyeights proved fruitless.

That's the last time I check YOU for symptoms of a concussion and fill in the paramedics... hrmph.
(Where's that sarcasam emote?)
Smoog and Cosmic are dears as roommates. Don't snore, don't whine, didn't kill me for clanging the top of my suitcase on the AC when I was trying not to make noise early in the morning as they tried to sleep a bit more...
Btw, Greg and Julie's nephew Aerin is awesome.

I wasn't. But I was kind of popping in and out. Oh, also, I have a penis. But then again, I still think Pho might.

If Rally plans the rooms for next year, if someone comes up to her about it and starts a sentence with "Hey, I know this guy who can...." She should kick the guy in the nuts.Wow, that's some serious spin on reality.

I swear. The nerve of that guy.
I also can't thank her enough for helping me through my little vehicular incident Saturday morning. You and Smoogis really helped a lot.
Y'know, I was about to mention that Rin helped too, but she beat me to it. C'mon, you couldn't have picked a better time to get hit by a car with that many people who have some sort of medical training.
Is Bert gay? I'm not sure. He sends such mixed signals.
Not as gay as Alex. .... Someone had to say it. Might as well be me.
Justin should be on the radio. Seriously.
I get that all the time and have since I was about 14 or 15. Wish there was something I could do about it now. Anyone know how to break into the voice-over business?
A bar crawl does NOT start at 2 pm!!
Or without telling me where they'll be or one of them loaning me a cell phone so I can hook up with them! ... Yes, I know what I said, shut up.

A lot of people complained about shitty service in restaurants, but I did okay when I ate at Octopus Garden, a sushi place near the Con. Of course, I paid about $40 for seaweed salad and two rolls, but it was the best damn seaweed salad and sushi I've ever had.

I just think it wasn't handled well. He honestly didn't have a clue what was suppose to happen at first because there was no plan set up on how the questioning was going to work. I only have a few problems with the suit, but they went away real damn fast when the clip started. That final shot of Superman just floating in the atmosphere with his cape billowing behind him... wow.

All true. Plus, I hung out with them for chat sessions there. I felt like such the teenage girl. We should've braided each other's hair and had a pillow fight. Then, of course, I would get arrested. Also, I really have to hand it to Andrea for not freaking out when the weird rash broke out on the sides of her face on Sunday which was most likely caused from sleeping on the floor. She just put some ice on it and read some more of her Fables trade.

Yeah, very disturbing. Especially since I consider CBR my online family- talk about incest.
If you can't keep it in your pants, keep it in the family.
If anyone cares we phoned Fabian today to see how those ruffians were doing on their way to Vegas. They said that Magic Mountain was a blast yesterday and they were anxious about getting to Sin City. I gave them a couple of strip club suggestions. You know, that I heard about from friends and stuff.
Things seem to be going well for them. I think Fabian might've gotten a bad rap for some reason. He's a good kid and I had a great time with him. Hope he enjoys the rest of his vacation.

I think Fabian might've gotten a bad rap for some reason. If so, I hadn't heard. Other than making fun of him for not being able to hold his liquor I think he was extremely nice, funny, and generally cool. Definitely somebody I'd hang out with again given the chance.
