Not to be rude, but was this thread necessary?
I really enjoy Uncanny X-Men.

Not rude at all, Veggie. The thread is totally unnecessary. :)

Funny, I was just thinking that 465 marks the 22 issue since X-Men became a great read again.

ive noticed.

no, the 100 issues of wackness follows a period of mediocrity.

nah, it wasnt a maggot issue (maggot wasnt that bad actually, bur whatever). it was the last issue before alan davis's run when the series pretty much just got bad and never recovered.

The x-men were bad after the phalanx showed up. Joe Mad art is the only thing that kept many fans reading it

...marks the 100 issue anniversary since the last time uncanny x-men was a decent comic book. :(Totally unneccesary. A number of people here happen to think Uncanny X-men is the best X-book, including myself. Can you not just create threads for the sole purpose of bashing numerous creators (Lobdell, Kelly, Austen, Claremont, Davis, etc).
And if youre calling everything on forums pointless, then why bother posting here?

Well, I thought Joe Casey produced some really good stuff. He had a bad start, but he really hit a good stride toward the end. Other than that, I've enjoyed very little of this title, since Claremont's first run on the book, but Claremont's current run does have potential. His XSE ideas are really interesting, but he'd rather shunt that to the side and do traditional super-heroics, which aren't really to my tastes when done by him--as many here can tell you. ;)

Im not saying that any of these creators are good or bad (besides Claremont, for obvious reasons), its rude to do that.
What I just realized is that everybody got over this, as it was on the second page. So why the *&#^ did I just bring it back??!?!
eh. just drop this.
