Well, I take bad all the nasty bad evil things I've said about Halo.

You see, the other day, I was taking a break from playing Tales of Symphonia and Gladius. Because, you see, I'd racked in about 32 hours or so on ToS in the week preceding that, and I was starting to suffer from burnout a little bit. So, as to not ruin an otherwise fantastically good game, I put it down for a day, played a little bit of Gladius, decided not to do that either as it's still an RPG and still contributing to burnout...

And instead after some coffee and reading I popped my roomate's copy of Halo: Combat Evolved into his XBOX and started playing it.

It's fun, terrific fun. I'm really enjoying it. I have the theme song stuck in my head. I want to snipe people with an automatic Magnum-pistol that has a scope, and then drive around town in a giant tank.

So, yeah, it's a cool game and I like it. I still refuse to acknowledge that it's "groundbreaking" or "the best game evar!1!1", or anything like that. But I really like it.

In a couple days I'm sure I'll return to Tales, and then Gladius, and the world will go back to normal.

yeah ive played it on my friends x-box and it is good and fun to play,but it isnt the best game ever created in the history of man,thats fanboy talk,neither is it revolutionary,you wanna talk revolution you talk metal gear,as it did in fact change the way people looked at playing a game.
