I nominate the song from friends.
I second this nomination, observe it, and add the theme song from Diff'rent Strokes. The latter, however, was actually catchy.

Ehhh, I don't know, It actually did fairly well on the singles charts (not that I liked it).
The first one that came to mind was the Family Ties theme:
What would we do, baby, without us/sha la la la
The best? THE JEFFERSONS.

It was a virus. I had it also. :(
But you are correct, the show was as unto an overly PC version of "The Brady Bunch", which is saying a lot.

The theme song to Star Trek: Enterprise, in that it exists at all.
I don't tend to remember the bad ones, just the good ones. I remember a short-lived sitcom called Lenny that had a great theme song that I still remember:
When I walk down this boulevard,
Just cut me slack, cuz I work hard
And I don't need no bodyguard,
Cuz no one backs me down.
I can't buy diamonds, mink or sable,
But I put food on this table,
And I'll do anything I'm able,
Cuz no one backs me down.
I'm just a guy who likes to feel
His work never is in vain.
I'm just tryin' to hold my family
Sheltered from the rain.

I loved "Brand new Life" from Who's the Boss?
The Theme from the Facts of Life was pretty classic too.

I believe that the theme song for "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" is deserving of this accolade.

Cheesiest sitcom themee songs.......hmmmmmm
oh i know
Here's the story of a lovely lady
Who was bringing up three very lovely girls.
All of them had hair of gold, like their mother,
The youngest one in curls.
Here's the store, of a man named Brady,
Who was busy with three boys of his own,
They were four men, living all together,
Yet they were all alone.
Till the one day when the lady met this fellow
And they knew it was much more than a hunch,
That this group would somehow form a family.
That's the way we all became the Brady Bunch.
The Brady Bunch,
That's the way we all became the Brady Bunch.
The Brady Bunch.
Or how about
New boy in the neighborhood
Lives downstairs and it is understood.
He’s there just to take good care of me,
Like he’s one of the family.
Charles in Charge
Of our days and our nights
Charles in Charge
Of our wrongs and our rights
And I sing, I want,
I want Charge in Charge of me.
Charles in Charge
Of our days and our nights
Charles in Charge
Of our wrongs and our rights
And I sing, I want,
I want Charge in Charge of me.
and i think that i can go even one cheesier...
Don't know about the future, that's anybody's guess.
Ain't no good reason for getting all depressed.
Buy up your pad and pencil, I'll give you a piece of my mind,
In my opinionation, the sun is gonna surely shine.
Stop all your fussin',
Slap on a smile
Come out and walk in the sun for awhile.
Don't fight the felling, you know you want to have a good time.
And in my opinionation, the sun is gonna surely shine.
That was Blossom for all those folks too young to remember
But i do kinda like that one.

How about the theme to "Family Matters". Don't quite remember it, by I know it started out like this...
"It's a rare condition
This day and age
To read any good news on the news paper page"
and the last line
"...it's the simple love of the family."
And a few odd lines in between.

Blasphemy! Just for that, you get all the lyrics!!!
Sometimes the world looks perfect,
Nothing to rearrange.
Sometimes you get a feeling
Like you need some kind of change.
No matter what the odds are this time,
Nothing's going to stand in my way.
This flame in my heart,
And a long lost friend
Gives every dark street a light at the end.
Standing tall, on the wings of my dream.
Rise and fall, on the wings of my dream.
The rain and thunder
The wind and haze
I'm bound for better days.
It's my life and my dream,
Nothing's going to stop me now.
Now we are so happy, we do the dance of joy!

I'd nominate that techno-crap I hear in DBZ intros.
However, I love the kick-ass rock guitar intros.
