The Mummy & The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen

I just rented The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and I have to admit, for a movie that got such bad reviews, it was actually pretty fun. The same can be said for The Mummy. I realize that The Mummy made quite a bit of money, and spawned a couple of sequels, but I can't recall anybody saying that they really liked it. Anybody else think that both these movies have gotten kind of a bad rap and are worth a second look?

I absolutely really like both Mummy films, what's not to like? Ok, the scorpion king in the 2nd film looked crappy, but I don't give a hoot really.
League of extraordinary gentlemen was quite entertaining without being great, but worth the purchase on dvd.

Loved both movies I do agree though that the Scorpion King in the end was crap. League was awesome, especially watching Mr. Hyde and that big red dude go at.

I just have one thing to say about the Mummy films, Rachel Weisz. :D

Between her for the guys, and Brendan Fraser for the gals, what's not to like.

I liekd both movies.Ive seen each of the mlike 10 times.I know alot of people that think they suck but they are wrong and I constitley remind the mabout it.

I really liked the first Mummy. It was the best adventure movie since Indinana Jones and the Last Crusade.

Mummy Returns was ok, but kind of an overblown mess that reshashed too much stuff from the original. Plus the chemistry between Frasier and Weiz was dull once they were a couple.
