Oh, geez! That's awful!

My favorite comics by the man are Robin 3000 #1 & 2. It was a sci-fi Elseworlds of Batman & Robin, illustrated by P. Craig Russell. I was...12 or 13 when it came out. That series opened my mind to so many possibilites. It gave me a glimpse of what we could do with the medium. I told him that at last years' MoCCA festival, and he was stunned by the compliment. He humbly shifted some of the praise to Russells art (which was amazingly different to me at the time).

He was a giant among men.
