Anyone ever read this?

It got the biggest emotional response out of me that any comic ever has.
Is anybody familiar with any of his other work? Books to check out?

I read this a couple days ago and really liked it.

I thought the chronological structure was pretty interesting and so was the decission to just make the narractive a bunch of short scenes illustrating the couple's relationship. Some of the scenes were very funny and others very touching.

My only complaint is that with the jumping around in time, I wish the various locations had been illustrated more clearly. I had a hard time distinguishing his apartment, from her apartment, from a hotel, etc. Which really threw off some of the scenes for me because if I couldn't tell where they were, I couldn't tell when they were, and thus what stage of the relationship this was in.

I borrowed it from a friend a month or two ago, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

I liked Clumsy, but I wasn't crazy about it.

I gave it to a friend a year or so after buying it.

It's just the sort of book I have no desire to read again.

A couple months now after reading Clumsy, I came across this in a comic shop:

http://secure.giantrobot.com/graphics/0204/27/beaman.gif

In Brown's own words:

"A few months ago I realized I was much to sensitive and pathetic in 'Clumsy', so I wrote 'Be a Man' and fixed myself, creating the 'Clumsy' you all wanted to see."

So basically this 32 page mini comic is the same six panel situations that are in Clumsy, only in this version Brown is apathetic, self centered, rude, and basically a frat kind of guy. Its a one note joke, but for anybody who's read Clumsy I highly highly recommend it.
