Cujo =Rabid Saint Bernard vs.Max=Mans Best Friend/Rottyweiler
Both dogs start out 100ft apart from each other in the arena.
Bloodlust in generally on.
Winner gets to shred a random mailman!

Max was a geneticly engineered super dog so he kills Cujo.
But both of them would be easily killed by dogmeat from fallout, that little guy killed 10-foot-tall super mutants with just a few bites.
Cujo hasn't got any special or mutational powers. All he did was kill a little boy. And there's some evidence that he had to be helped by a malevolent spirit lurking in the town to do just that.

Just want to clarify that he killed three people because it was rabid and a huge dog and none of them were a kid. No spirit, that was just childish fears.

Max tears Cujo a new one. Several new ones, actually. Heck, there may not be anything left but the new one. :p

For a spirit hanging around in Castle Rock, you'd expect whatever was controling Cujo to actually be kickass.
It wasn't.

NOW I'm curious. Where is everybody getting the idea Cujo was controlled by something? :confused:
Maybe I missed something from the movie, because in the novel it's clear Cujo is just a rabid dog.

Anyway, Cujo dies. Max is pumped full of crazy genetics.

I think somewhere in the book, around the time Cujo gets bitten, he hears the voice of the killer from the Dead Zone.

That doesn't happen. Tad Trenton thought Cujo was the monster in his closet, which itself was a mix of the Frank Dodd story and his own fears. The sheriff of Castle Rock thought for a moment that it was Frank's eyes looking at him when Cujo attacked him, but that hardly proves anything.
