What's the big deal (other than the big breasts and the "cleavage hole")? Women have breasts, some like to show them off.

You do not punish someone, Peeg or otherwise, for having big boobs.
If anything, she should be rewarded.
Sorry. I'm in obscure quote mood today.

I once thought to myself, "If Rob Liefeld drew Power Girl, would she have a head?"
Anyways, at least JSA has a great writer, or else you know DC would mandate Peege to be on every cover to sell the issue.

If I was a super-heroine with a large chest, it'd show it off all the time. Especially in battle, it's a very good distraction.

Wost if the female villian is flat chested with a bad atitude! Then your gifts turn from distractions to targets!
Then again it might wonders for comic bok sales, but it would be rated mature so sales might even fall lower.

I read a comic called Flare (I think) once, can't remember the publisher and she was well endowed, in one issue she has a wardrobe malfunction and the villain she is fighting gets all sort've embarassed for her and tucks her back in. She is livid and pummels the crap out've him. Man, funniest thing I ever read. Can't see it happening in JSA though....but I can dream I suppose. ;)

Women in real life come in all shapes and sizes, so comic book characters should, too. I'll never complain about breast size.
One thing that disappoints me: ALL I know about Power Girl is her breast size. Granted, I've only read JSA in bits and pieces, but I have no real idea who this character is, where she came from, or why she does what she does. Felicia Hardy may have a bust that precedes her, but at least she's got a reputation to match.

Your right, Pennywisdom, they need to make her a more round character, more developed (this is not a 'chest' joke), I want her and Captain Marvel to become major players in the DCU (but Superman and Super-Girl are making it really hard for them!). They don't even have the weaknesses of the Kryptonians, so why aren't they as powerful or more (thank god for Kingdom Come).
I also want her persona to change, I'm sick of her being a b**ch. That attitude is holding her back. I want her to be proud of what she has, just not a ho aka most of the girls in Top Cow (just kidding for any Top Cow fans.....) aka Emma Frost aka most of the girls in Wanted.
..... I just want my favorite DCU characters to be as developed as my favorite Marvel Character (Captain America...... Like that's gonna happen  )

I'm hoping that the first JSA: Classified arc starring Power Girl, will flesh her character out, and we will see what really makes her tick. JSA is the only book that I've read that has PG in it monthly. They have done a bit of characterization, but not a whole lot. She is my favorite female DC character. Looking forward to JSA: Classified!

that is why i draw my female character named guantlet from my own private little universe(well i try anyways even though i suck) with a body type i haven't seen in comics really and that is with big hips and ass and pretty much flat chested, like b-cups at the most. do you guys know of any other female characters are known for consistantly having this shape regardless of the artist??

PG's attitude has always been what's made her unique and interesting. She's got a good heart, she just has no tollerance for bullsh**, and doesn't suffer fools. To quote the Slings and Arrows Comic Guide about PG :"Abrassive, rude and arrogant, she proved you didn't have to be a nice person to be a good person, and people who've only seen the gutless shell of Power Girl around today don't know what they've missed..."

I can't remember the title anymore, but I once saw a Jenna Jameson flick where she was a super-hero. I can't even remember anything about her character, because the movie was about 10% people running around in masks and badly delivering lame dialogue, and about 90% really hot sex.

"Karen Starr," to be precise. For a time she maintained a secret identity as the founder of "Starr Software," but as I recall, all her company's files were wiped out in fight between Firestorm and perhaps Dr. Polaris.

Power Girl is like Lindsey Lohan. They've both appeared in a lot of junk, they've got great personalities, embarassing histories (Micheel Lohan and Hilary Duff) and everyone is obscessed with their breasts -- which are not as big as other famous women/female superheroes.
