Hi, my name is Chris, and I will be 17 in July! I started collecting Comics and Action Figures yesterday (7/1). I am glad I did! I have a great forum to use for Action Figures (fwoosh), and it looks like a GREAT site here for Comics and other things.
I have no job, but applied at Gamestop today! Before I go on any further and make this a Blog type post. I just want to say thank you very much for having me here. It looks like a wonderful site, and I hope to learn from you guys, and maybe meet some friends :)

My sister collects quite a bunch of comics. I go the idea from her mostly. Would it be alright if she joins? We have 2 seperate comps, using a wireless router. Just don't want to break any rules. Have had some problems before about this with other sites..

Welcome aboard and have fun. Its really cool to see someone almost on the very first day they are bit by the comic bug. There are a TON of really good comics out there for you to check out. I recommend "The Ultimates". Grab a Trade Paperback of the back issues if that's in your budget. The art is top of the american style....and the story is pretty good if a little slow sometimes.
You have a great head start becoming well versed in comic stuff with your membership here. If you ever have any questions, let us know.

Hmnnn...well hopefully that is why they have the option to sign out and log in with a different account in the first place.
Even if they cant be on at the same time with the same server, perhaps they can just work out a system to share.

Dude, if New Avengers brings in newbies, like it's SUPPOSED to, then that's good, as comics won't die. So we get more Y: The Last Man, Runaways, Ultimate X-Men (put the gun down Brian, I'm getting to it) and Ex Machina.

And note that you can catch up on many series free of charge by getting the trade paperbacks at the library. That's one of the main attempts at getting teenagers in the door. For the same reason, they'll usually take requests to boot.
