Collected Editions

Hi, I was just curious, and not wanting to add to Jnappers list of hellboy related emails,

Will the "Hellboy: The Penanggalan" and "BPRD: Born again" be featured in any collections appearing soon? Just, as a Hellboy Completest, i would really like to at least READ those Comics. And my local comic shop, well, isn't exactly well stocked on stuff that isn't Mainstream. (Marvel or DC, basically)

Also, are the short stories, going to be collected, the ones from Book of Witchcraft/The Dead/Hauntings (I can't get hold of "The Dead" no matter how hard i try!)

BKole, the answer to your question above, regarding where and when Mike's Hellboy short stories will be collected can be found in the title for the next TBP (scheduled for Spring 2006), "STRANGER PLACES". Nothing has, of course, been completely confirmed by the powers that be, but this edition should include:

-The Third Wish story
-The Island story
-Pengaalan
-All of the short stories from the hard bound editions
-DVD style deleted pages from The Island (supposedly fully pencillend and inked)
-An original Hellboy story with title as yet unnamed.

Granted, I personally have no idea if the edition will contain all of the stories listed above or just a few of them, but this is what I've been able to cobble together from various sources both on the main HB.com site and this Messageboard.

Update from Scott:

Strange Places will have "The Third Wish," "The Island," the unused pages of "The Island," and an epilogue for "The Island."

It will not have the short stories from the Dark Horse Book of... hardcovers, or "The Penanggalan." Those are being saved for a future short stories book along the lines of Chained Coffin amd Others TPB.
