Last night I re-discovered my Arcanum CD and thought it'd be fun to play it again.
It was. :D
Anyone want to give a shout out to any of the games of yesteryear that they've suddenly dug up? :)

I started playing the Marathon series, thanks to Aleph One and Bungie releasing the files for the games. I can't seem to finish Unphorgiven, even after wasting the cyborg that is apparently the point of the mission, according to Durandal.

3-D World Runner (NES), Salom (NES), and Pinbot (NES).
The first two were made by Squaresoft before they started going into the RPG genre, and the last one is made by Rare.

Don't you mean before they dedicated themselves to the RPG genre? :p

I'm almost finished with Ultima VI - one of my favorite games of all time. Origin put out some real winners back in the day - the Ultima series was almost entirely brilliant, and I loved Wind Commander (well, at least 1-3 - I don't think I've found the others yet).

Super Mario Bros. 3 was great... you know a game is awesome when they dedicate an entire movie to a kid going to play it.
Featuring the first appearance of the Power Glove!
Man... they don't make great peripherals like that for consoles now...

that is the only reason i own test drive for the x-box.
