He already appeared in #1.

He didn't say or do anything, but he was there nonetheless. ;)

Or maybe Bendis just couldn't think of a role for him that wouldn't give away what he was planning in new avengers 7-10. Either way, its a waste. He should not be in house of M.

Sadly, at the pace New Avengers is being released, we may never see issues 7-10 :( .
