I'm mentally kicking my own ass right about now...

While I'm outside today, strolling down the sidewalks, a piece of my headrest falls off and I have to call my dad to come and get it over my phone. As I'm urning around, this cute guy who is always driving around the subdivision in his black car (With sunroof) and repairing stuff (He repaired something in our house before) is about to enter said car. So I yell "Yo!" and ask him to pick up the part, to which he does, smiles, offers to put it back but can't figure out how to so gives it to me.

And all I friggin' do is say "Thanks!" and go my merry way! It finally hits me a few sidewalks down, after he's driven off, that I could have INTRODUCED MYSELF!!!

Then as I'm walking I see him working on some trees. Now, it would have been a nice time to pass by and at least say hi but... I HESITATED TOO LONG! Before I even get the chance he speeds off again :C(

Do not worry that happens to all of us. Checking the person but for whatever reason don't move in for the small talk

I just feel stupid cause a few sidewalks later I was thinking, "Wait a minute... it's that guy I crush on..."

Me lady, that happens to me all the time (well before anyway). In fact twice on 2 recent occasions. I'm sure the girls were giving us the eye right, but instead of saying anything. I sat there like a nob, like a big fat nob.
The worst is at school fancied this girl for about 2 years, didn't say nothing to her, just stupid hints. Don't worry it happens to everyone

See, if I think that likely my mind will wander into a daydream where he's naked and sticky from chocolate syrup and whipcream in front of me and he'll walk away shortly after I absently say "yea, buh-bye"...
