Did you know this group of characters would be the world leaders during the House of M storyline before you saw this cover? Or that Captain Marvel would be in it as well?

I dont consider cover art spoilers. Both links to Newsarama provided in this thread didnt say anything about the group featured on the cover as being the world leaders, that's your assumption. I dont consider cover art spoilers since they are released in advance and usually dont have anything to do with whats going on inside the book. Not trying to start a flame war but I just found it odd that the thread was labeled as having "spoilers".

I read the Newsarama posts beneath the story where they were calling out who's on the cover. I don't think that's Doom. Could be, but it could also be Bobby Drake or Norrin Radd. My bets on Iceman.

I'm assuming that's Storm there on the right. Is it just me or does she look like a cheap overly-artificially-endowed porn star?
Obviously we've got Quicksilver, Namor, Doom. Magneto, Storm, and Captain Marvel here. But who's the character that is barely seen in the background between Magneto and Storm?

Definitely looks like Wanda to me. You can see just the top of what looks like her costume. Storm's implants are blocking enough to keep from being sure though.

They sprout directly from her neck.
Still, she looks fab. Great retro feel here.

I don't have it with me at work to check, but the new Fantastic Four looked different in the House of M scetch book so can we assume that Doom has been 'reimagined' too?
Also think its probably Wanda in the background and can't think of any other warrior/armoured mutants (or other characters for that matter) that would fit?

I don't like the cover. I'm not a big fan of "reimagining" classic characters like that. Retro feel is one thing, but they didn't have to give Storm the Smithsonian's version of prehistoric. Come on. She doesn't look human.

I saw the cover of House of M: Fantastic Four? Doom is not Doom: It`s Mr. Sinister dressed as Doom.

As for what Captain Marvel is doing there, I have no idea. It must have something to do with Ms. Marvel being this World`s must revered hero.
