The award for "Lamest Use of a Game Plot" goes to a tie between the Banjo-Kazooie series & Donkey Kong 64. Why?

COLLECT-A-THON

A collect-a-thon means the game focuses on having the player collect things for a certain goal. Granted, you can have boss battles, but they are only here so you can collect something. Focusing on collecting alone ruins the gaming experience.

As for bad games, I have to go with games reating to either Disney & Nickelodean shows or movies (except Spiderman & Star Wars: Episode III).

Also, don't forget Beavis & Butt-Head's Virtual Stupidity.

That game was great when it came out :D

That being said, The Elder Scrolls: Daggerfall.

Prequel to Morrowind.

You would clip through the floor as soon as you started playing it, and wouldn't be able to do anything.

Bruce Lee in Xbox simply delivers........horrid mind-numbing experience that is. I mean when the hell did you ever had to buy kungfu in games. I know most games do but this thing is an exception.

Lol. Do you think an expansion pack for Daikatana called "Daikatana: The Welsh Samurai" would sell?

Besides Daikatana, my worst game ever had to have been Independance Day on the PS1.

Final Fantasy 11 is seriously the worst game ever. It's the only MMoRPG I've ever played and I can't say I'm thrilled about playing another. Literally the most boring fight system I've ever seen, a story they might as well have left out, nearly impossible to get gear that all the allakhazam freaks insist you have or they'll kick you out of your party and hordes upon hordes of terrible, annoying people.

Try World of Warcraft, Guild Wars, and Star Wars Galaxies before you say you don't want to try another MMORPG. Final Fantasy XI is more for more experienced MMORPG players.

I didn't even get to play it. I clipped through the floor and went into the pit of doom.

After 2 months when they released the patch so that wouldn't happen, I tried playing it, but then it crashed.

Morrowind however, was friggin' awesome.

It was all the hype that killed it, since it was glaringly average.

And I bought that piece of crap too. Man.

Hmm. From the PS1 days, I can think of 2 Extreme and Fantastic Four, which has the dubious distinction of having the mini-game, played during loading times between levels, being more enjoyable than the actual game itself.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers for the Sega CD. It was basically a laser disk game, like Dragon's Lair, where you got to continue a horrendously pixilated video of the fighting scenes of the first couple episodes of Power Rangers by guessing where the game wanted you to press the joystick.

"Hook" and "RoboCop 3" for SNES. Sluggish, sloooooooow controls leading you to frustratingly die again and again through repetitive levels based on terrible movies and full of hundreds of badly designed enemies that are far faster than you and throw you everything and the kitchen sink was never so much fun. Anyone ever heard of Superman 64?That is one major disaster of a video game

I have to add:
1. Cosmic Carnage (Sega Mega Drive 32X)

2. Superman (Nintendo Game Boy): Absolute piece of junk, 10 stages you have to collect a fiew useless key in each stage to finish it and the game only ends with "WELL DONE SUPERMAN"

3. Final Fantasy X-2: I didn't really play a thing in it, watching my brother play this game makes me ticked of how annoying fights are and how boring the stories are. Why did they turn a priestess to a singer?

4. Final Fantasy Tactics & Hoshigami: I don't deny the story of each one is good; but you can't control one in a town aside from a fight, the combat is ok but moving between towns is boring how to just move the pointer at a dot to move. In "Shaman King: Master of Spirits" you really choose the place you want to go by moving the pointer to it; but you control your move from point A to point B

5. Incredible Hulk (GBA): The game is not movie based, they cancelled porting games to the GBA since before October 2k7

6. Spider-Man the animated series for the Genesis*

7. Spider-Man the movie (GBA): Spider-Man 2 on the GBA developed by the same guys but it's one of the best games I played, the controls are easier to handle and there is no one like Kraven taking out half my health the regenerates his full health twice and I can't him when he's regenrating his health. Spider-Man's motion is a bug.*

8. Spider-Man the movie (PC)*

9. Spider-Man 2 (NDS)*

10. Spider-Man 3 (NDS)*

11. Jungle Book dancing game (PS1)

12. Tales Spin (Sega Genesis)

13. Sonic Crackers (Sega Genesis): Just collect rings all the time and you're attached by a ring to Miles as characters in "Knuckles Chaotics" do

14. Phantasy Star 3 (Sega Genesis): I think the game is good generally, but in fights it's a horror (Its sequel is one of my favorite games of all times)

15. Boogerman (Sega Genesis): How exactly did I get this game? Some dweeb fights by fart and flum, teleportation is through toilets or giant noses. This is the most disgusting most horrible most honorbaly mentioned in this list

16. Fifa 98 (PS1): Boring graphics, boring gaming, after you kick the ball you hardly see it until it reaches the ground

17. Sonic The Hedgehog (NGB): A rehash of a few Sonic games from the genesis with lousy music and absolutely bugging speed

18. Sonic the Hedgehog (S.N.E.S): You can't make sonic spin? You release Mario (Nintendo's famous Italian plumber) from many cages? BOOOOOORIIIIING (I say it the way they sing SEGA in the start of a genesis Sonic game)

Nobody's going to mention E.T. for Atari 2600? This game was messed up. You would move your square E.T. character from screen to screen picking up things and falling through holes. There was no point to the game and I don't think there was even an ending.

If you're willing to call a game one of the worst of all time because of a little detail like that, anything could make your list.

Not to mention that Tactics isn't supposed to be about roaming through towns. It's supposed to be about combat. That's like criticizing Tetris for not having weapons and dialogue.

Banjo Kazooie should never, ever be mentioned in a "Worst Games Ever" thread. I loved it when it came out, and I played it again last month on XBLA... and loved it again. It's a classic. Donkey Kong 64 not so much, but that's another issue.

I always really hated the Sega Genesis game Chakan; The Forever man, but only because I couldn't figure out what to do and I died a lot.

But my true worst games of all time;

Where's Waldo (NES) -- This was a turd of a game, and an even bigger turd when it was a Christmas present. You can't tell your parents they suck at picking out video games.

Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure (NES) -- Did anyone ever finish this game? I couldn't figure out squat.

X-Men (NES) -- I shouldn't have to say why this game was bad. If you don't know, go try it!
