I wasn´t sure where to put this so I´m making a thread like this in the Batman forum.
Anyway...
How long would it be?
What would it be about?
What supporting cast and villains would you use?
Would you make it into a sequal to the two already published Spider-man/Batman comics?
How would you do the first meeting between Spider-man and Batman?

If I were assigned this book, I would change "Spider-Man" to "Daredevil" and call it a day. Yeah, like the editors would notice.

A Spider-Man/Batman crossover would probably be a lot like a typical Spider-Man/Daredevil Team-Up, although, I can't see Bruce warming up to Peter as much as Matt has.

How long would it be?
One issue.
What would it be about?
Joker with the Carnage Symbiote.
What supporting cast and villains would you use?
Joker
Harley
Scarecrow
Gordon
Robin
Alfred
Oracle
Carnage
Shriek
Jonah
Robbie
Prowler
MJ
Black Cat
Owl
Nick Fury
Would you make it into a sequal to the two already published Spider-man/Batman comics?
No.
How would you do the first meeting between Spider-man and Batman?
Spider-Man swings into Gotham, chasing Carnage. First running into the Scarecrow and getting sprayed with the fear gas, making his Spidey Sense go nuts. Batman finds him, but Spidey in his daze, begins fighting Batman, and eventually Bats gets knocked into a building and webbed up as he's giving Spidey the antidote for the fear gas. Batman suffers several broken ribs from one punch from freaked out spider-man. Batman and Spider-Man never actually team up until the final fight with Joker-Carnage as theyre after different villains. Spidey is looking for Carnage, while Batman is tracking the Joker, not knowing Joker and Carnage have teamed up to cause well, Carnage. Maybe toss in a point where Batman and Spidey switch weapons. Bats with webshooters while Spidey's got a utility belt.

Can't say I'm really fond of that story, though the idea of the Carnage symbiote bonding with Joker is an awesome one.

It would involve Spider-Man beating the crap out of Batman... then a picture of me laughing.

Yup, there was also one for Spidey/Batman and Ras/Kingpin
It was funny cause Kingpin owned in that comic!

I'd be more interested in a 'switch' than a crossover...
Batman is sent to Spidey's New-York, and has to face a city plagued with dozens of extremely dangerous super-criminals. That would be enough to turn the Bat into a team-player...
Spider-Man is sent to Bats' Gotham City, and he finds out that the local villains actually think before they act, and that these psychopaths are not amused by Spider-Man's one-liners...

an interesting idea, but remember the Dark Knight isn't known to fight fair....just ask Mr Kent. I wouldn't put it past Bruce to have some arachna-repellant in his utility belt and a couple of DC buddies on standby.
And as for how they would meet? Well adjoining Iso-Cubes at the pleasure of Judge Dredd would be my choice. How they break out and end up a three way crime fighting team I haven't figured out yet. But obviously Dredd slaps Bats and then Spidey, then Bats and Spidey slap Dredd, then the Bat slaps Spidey....yes lots of slapping....the end. (oh and dimension travel too and some bad guys)

I'd make it three issues. It would follow the last two stories, because I thought they were pretty good, and I wouldn't have to bother introducing Spider-Man to Batman & the Joker. This also allows Marvel/ DC to release a $20 trade of the three team ups (and me to collect royalties.) :D
In a fill-in issue of a Spider-Man book, Spider-Man chases an unseen serial killer, revealed on the last page as the Joker.
The same week a fill-in issue of the last Batman book, has a millionaire opponent of Bruce Wayne hiring hitmen to kill him. Bruce discovers that the millionaire is a known murderer in disguise. Batman goes after the millionaire, who runs into a secret room. The Green Goblin emerges.
This would lead directly into the Spider-Man/ Batman team up, which probably have the Joker teaming up with the Green Goblin.
My ideal artists would be Jae Lee, or Mike Zeck.
I may have a scene where Batman, and Spider-Man exchange miseries.
Batman: When I was a young boy my parents were killed by an ordinary mugger, and I was raised by my butler.
Spider-Man: My parents were SHIELD agents who died when I was a little boy, and were branded traitors because of the secret nature of their mission. I was raised by my aunt, and uncle, who barely made enough money to support them. After I gained my powers, I didn't bother stopping an ordinary burglar, and he went on to kill my uncle.
Batman: My worst enemy killed my sidekick, crippled my best friend's daughter, and killed his wife.
Spider-Man: My worst enemy killed my girlfriend, and then faked his death, so he could raise their illegitimate children (who had protegia) to kill me. Meanwhile his son, my best friend took on his mantle, and later died in my hands. The enemy came back engineering a plot in which I believed that I was just a clone, and that my clone was the real Spider-Man. He then poisoned by pregnant wife so she would miscarry, and killed the clone (who had become my new best friend.) He later briefly owned the company I was working for, and crippled my third best friend, who is now in a persistent vegitative state.
* Spider-Man, and Batman then hug.

I'd bring in Access for one. Now besides the typical hero fights hero bit and hero's switch rogue's galleries, I'd also play around with the idea of alternate times some.
Show us what Bruce would be like if he had Spidey's origin, and what Spidey would be if he was a powerless millionaire.
What would have happened if Spidey had become Batman's sidekick?

That could be an interesting plot....
Bruce Wayne discovers that the new vigilante Spider-Man is really a fifteen year old kid living with his elderly aunt, and decides to train him (he probably wouldn't adopt him though.) It'd make a nice plot.

The thought of Peter Parker as Robin tickles me.
How cool would that be? You, sir, deserve an award. As does anyone else who suggested it.

Hey...this is justa random thought that popped up into my head.
What if, in the middle of an intense battle with the Joker, the Joker fogs the place where they're doing battle with laughing gas and while Spidey escapes thanks to his spider sense Bats isn't fast enough and almost succombs to the effects of the gas. This enrages Spider-Man, and in a blind fury he forgets the moral prinicipals Batman taught him and pins the Joker down with his spider strength, spraying him in the face with his own laughing gas, resulting in the Joker's death by his own greatest weapon.
Once realizing what he has done, Spider-Man quickly takes Batman back to Wayne Manor, cures Batman with the antidote to the laughing gas Batman himself created, and while Batman has fallen into a deep sleep during the process of his recovering from the effects of the gas, Spider-Man disappears to start a life of his own in New York where he meets Mary Jane, settles down, starts a family and gives up crimefighting all because of the trauma he suffers from the night he killed the Joker.

I would make this at least a 2 comic "Else worlds/What If?" Comic.
Joe Chill kills Bruce Wayne's parents...then many years later, kills Aunt May and Uncle Ben when Peter is just a boy. Bruce is on a trip to New York to do some business, happens to meet the young Peter Parker, and after the deaths of his aunt and uncle, adopts Peter as his heir.
Batman trains Peter in intense hand to hand combat, gymnastics, ect...turning him into Robin. Later, when Peter is in his late teens, he returns to New York, to represent Wayne Corp in a huge science convention. It is there that he is bitten by a radioactive spider and developes his powers.
Peter feels he is being smothered by "the shadow of the bat" and informs Bruce that he's giving up his identity as Robin and is taking a new one...Spiderman!
After some time apart, to go on their separate adventures, Batman and Spiderman join up once more to stop a diabolical plot by the Joker and Green Goblin. The two rejoin together, having joint operations in both Manhatten and Gothom.
Events that occur/don't occur:
Gwen Stacy is never killed. She ends up marrying Harry Osborn, and never forms a relationship with Peter. Starfire is Spidey's girlfriend...and she and Spiderman defeat the Green Goblin with ease when he tries to kidnap her!
Batgirl is never crippled: Peter's senses warn him of danger, and he stalls Barbara...going inside the Gorden house himself. Of course with his sense and reflexes he easily dodge's Joker's attack, and defeats him.
Sadly I can't think of anything that would save Jason Todd...I'm afraid he'd still perish.

I think the idea of a young Spiderman becoming the protege of Batman would be a nifty idea to run with. Remember, Peter is a scientific genius, and with Wayne's resources and time, Peter would be able to come up with all sorts of gadgets to help Batman. Not to mention the superior physical stats he will have over him.

That alone is an intresting idea. How would Batman handle a sidekick that's muich power powerful than he is? How would Spidey react to having to do training when he's already in better shape than Batman will ever be?

After Batman punches him in the kidney, Spider-Man will realize that he needs the training.

If Batman can get at him. Spidey mops the floor with Captain America. Batman would be best helping Spiderman more with conceptual stuff, helping to deal with Peter's angst, turning it into motivation. Peter would have a lot more extra time on his hands as well, not having to worry about money. Bruce would probably set him up in a place like Batgirl's, that way Spidey would be in his element.

I would like a story where the Joker meets GG Both of our heroes arch nemesis together but our heroes cant form a bond. Alfred is killed due to Spideys lack of atteniton... batman discovers Spideys identity and is going to reveal it when Peters Spidey sense goes off and the two get into a big brawl.
Bats gets good shots in but Spidey is too fast too strong Batman is defeated. Robin is kidnapped by GG how has discovered the secret of the bat. GG looks for the funding needed to produce Jokers and his newest weapon?????
GG gives joker some of his enhacing formula but his is only a temporary effect kind. Batman goes to rescue Robin while Spidey goes to save the city. In the end Robin is severely injured Batman takes on GG on top of a new and improved glider Batman seemingly kills GG using the Jokers own laughing nervw poison to do it.
All while Spidey fights an giant mutated Joker a seemingly invincible being. That is until Batman arrives and helps out the effects wear off and Joker has all of his teeth punched out by the two of them.
Peter and Bats never shake hands instead Batman tells Spidey he was never fit to waer a costume and call himself a hero. The end is a hsot of the two in their respected cities up top a skyscraper overlooking their cities. Peter has a picture of Ben with him. and Bats drops a rose where Alfred was lay to rest!

The story never comes off well...but I have a key moment I would love to see
Whatever the adventure is has classic Spidey making joke after joke...Then in the middle of the issue he makes a comment that makes Batman chuckle...very slightly but obvoious...It would be perfect...
