Crossover Events

With comics budgets being tight among some readers, what are your buying habits when it comes to major crossover events?

I'll only get my monthly titles, thenpick up an extra ish here & there if they're really good & are key to the overall story.

Aside from the House of M various limited series, I'm just picking up my normal books.

With House of M I'll buy House of M, the books I'd normally buy (ie-Pulse, Incredible Hulk), and maybe some of the mini series (especially the Spider-Man one)

I'll be getting the HOM main mini
and then the regular monthly titles I get (ie. New X-Men)
and possibly the Iron Man mini.
If I hear good reviews or want the whole story, I'll just get the other titles in trade form later on.

Depends on the creative teams involved, usually.

In terms of HOUSE OF M, I'll probably be getting just the main mini-series and the titles I regularly buy anyway (just CAPTAIN AMERICA, NEW THUNDERBOLTS, and THE PULSE). The FF mini looks interesting, but I'll probably wait for some reviews before I commit to it.

Oops, forgot to mention my buying habits.....I too will buy some of the tie-ins depending on the creative team. Still debating on all the HoM minis.

Too many titles, too little money!!

I'm picking up my normal titles and will probably avoid House of M altogether outside of those (unless something mindblowing happens). As far as the DC stuff is concerned, I'll pick up the Infinite Crisis book when it comes out and am avoiding all the minis right now.
