Hi there everyone, new guy here with a (probably dumb) question.

Brief history -

I recently moved house and re-discovered my Batman collection from the attic. After many nights re-reading the favourites I was left with a question...

Does any one here know what happened to Batman between the time "Bane" had control of GC and he returned with "Azrael" (JPV) etc etc

The "wheelchair period" if you know what I'm talking about?

Any help or a link to a published graphic novel would be greatly appreciated by an old man ;)

Thanks, Mack1

Not such a silly question, I'd like to know too.

If I recall correctly, this period was supposed to be covered and revealed at a later date - I don't recall seeing it anywhere.

I was always a bit disapointed that a superpower was used to 'cure' Bruce's broken spine (Dr Shondra Kinsolving???)

Actually now that I think about your question I'm thinking of the period when Bruce left Dick in the Bat Suit and went AWOL for a while, that period hasn't been covered.

When Bruce was in the chair he went to England with Alfred to find Shondra (sp? was it Sandra??), chased down her evil brother, met some english hero , something like a robin hood, dressed up as an english lord, tied himself to posts, got Alfred to dress as the Bat once, and got his back fixed. I think this all happened in Legends of The Dark Knight.

While Azbats was running around in Knightquest: The Crusade there were stories in LoTDK titled Knightquest: The Search which covered Bruce Wayne. They weren't very good

I think there was also a Justice League Task Force arc that tied into Knightquest: The Search. Always found it strange that they never reprinted those stories.
