Anybody going?

Looks like it's gonna be pretty good this year.

Hell, it looked good last year.

I'm going to make it out one of these days. Promise.

Also, I want Mike to do another con report, and now he's got a place to post it. :) Take lots of pictures, homie.

I've got a nice big empty memory stick ready for my digital camera, and I'll be taking lots of pictures, Aaron-- fear not.

I plan on making a huge after-con report when I get back home.

Mike :)

little bit off-topic, but this seems like the place to ask: any idea if you're going to the Baltimore Comic Con again this year? Last year I could only go on Sunday, so your schedule for sketches was already filled. This year I need to get my order in early...

I AM scheduled to be in Baltimore again this year, yep.

I had an amazing time at BALTIMORE COMICON last year. Marc Nathan puts on one of the greatest show I've ever attended. Between Baltimore and HEROES CON, I don't have much reason to leave the East Coast...! :D

He's right, you know - Chicago IS awesome. And its con isn't bad, either. And I just had a blast at Wizard World Philly the other week, too.

Ah, but Ringo + con I can actually go to = best con ever

I won't be able to make the WIZARD WORLD show in Chi-town this year, but I'm thinking seriously about trying to make it there next time. I can't remember the last time I went. It was many years ago-- back when I was working on SENSATIONAL SPIDER-MAN. The Wizard folks flew me out there a few years in a row.

I've never gone there on my own 'dime'. I'll have to see what plane tickets and hotel rooms are going for next year.

Well I'm not heading to either Charlotte or Chicago, but I'm saving the pennies for Baltimore.

See that, Mike? You need to start a "Baltimore sketch wait list" for your board denizens - we can put in our requests early, and beat the crowds!

First!

Seriously?

That sucks.

I was looking forward to using you to get some free Ronin stuff. :)

I was on the Pulse website where they interviewed Shelton Drum and he mentions all the activities at the show and all the 'marquee' and indie artists/writers. No mention of Mike. Boo-hiss...

Mike you live in NC - right - so I just thought it was a no-brainer for you to attend HeroCon?

Anyway - I found out you are attending - and I'm looking very much forward to seeing you (and others) and seeing what pics you post afterwards!

Yeah it does suck.
Unless some sort of act of god happens that'll be it for me this year.

I only got to spend half of Saturday, and most of Sunday at Heroes Con this weekend (didn't plan on going, so it was on-the-go the entire time, it seemed).

I've still sorting through the art auction photos, and some photos of the guests that were in attendance.

The turn-out was larger than ever before (it seemed to me), and I wished I had shown up on Friday because there wasn't enough time to go through all the tables/bins, and also chat with some of the guests in attendance. All in all, another fun time at Heroes Con. I'll post some pix when I get a chance.
