Just wanted to mention that Lane Smith died. He was one of those actors who will never be a household name but did so much work. The Internet Movie Data Base has him in 78 movies and Tv series...and that is not including guest appearances. The things I remember him is Perry White in Lois and Clark, the prosecutor in My Cousin Vinnie and the coach in The Mighty Ducks.

It is the only role I can think off the top of my head where he is not playing the badguy...or at least the antagonist.

It just came out last Tuesday, if you're in the States.

Yea. I checked Suncoast's site.

Not quite sure I wanna spend $60 on it right now however.

That's MSRP isn't it?

How about 20 bucks less?

Try DeepDiscountDVD ($41.87 with free ship).

Or Ebay and its sister site Half.com. Bound to be some deals there.

Ebay would be nice if i had a CC.

$40 is still a tall order at the moment.

I just got KOTOR for my comp (a mac) and the dumbass I am didn't make sure that my OS met the requirements. Can't take back KOTOR (cuz I opened it) and have to upgrade my comp with Panther or Tiger.

I would prefer Tiger but I'm not sure If I would need to get Panther first. Just one of the many questions I have for the people at CompUSA.

There's your problem just don't buy anything from Suncoast. The one here is always $10 to $20 more expensive than anywhere else.

Very sad news. I've just been watching my Lois and Clark DVD's ($37 @ WalMart) and he is absolutely amazing as Perry White. Possibly the best part of the show.

RIP

Damn, I really liked him. He was great in Lois and Clark and better in Ducks, but my favorite role of his was as the news anchor in the HBO miniseries From The Earth To The Moon, where he played the only fictional character to appear in more than one episode of the series.

I still remember him as the collaborator in the film Red Dawn. Loved him in My Cousin Vinny.

Which character was Nathan Bates? I saw on us.imdb.com that he was in V but couldn't remember the character.

Forgot he was in Red Dawn. He was in a lot of good stuff.

It's been awhile but he was that dude that threatened to release a toxin into the atmosphere that would've killed all the reptile aliens.
