What excactly is going on with him. I haven't picked up a Batman book since the end of Hush. So can anyone give me a brief summary of what I missed with the former boy wonder?

Not a ton is known...Since the end of Hush his body disappeared we now know that the Red Hood is Jason Todd. However, what isn't known is how he came back to life.

And I am quite sure that his reappearance and the lead up to IC is not coincidental.

And what's IC. I've heard little about it (haven't picked up a new comic in almost 6 months. Lack of money) All I know is that it's something big that's going on in the DCU.

Infinite Crisis....DCU will appraently look way different in 6 months.

There are four miniseries that are leading up to it.

Villains United - Lex Luthor, Talia Deathstroke, Dr. Psycho and another person are trying to get rid of the heros to save the world
OMAC Project - Satellite that Batman owned but Checkmate in control to take out the heroes to save the world.
Rann-Thangar (sp?) War - dunno
Day of Vengeance - The Spectre taking on all the magic users in DCU

DCU will not look the same after these 4 mini series

What do you mean by "DCU will not be the same" and does Jason haveanything to do with it.

On a side note, I'm going to have to get the one with DeathStroke (Second favorite DC character, #1 being NightWing).

Actually, VU is more the villains team up, except for 6 second stringers who are standing up to Lex and Talia.

Well, Metropolis is almost turning Anti-Superman.

Batman is reallllly reclusive (not that he wasn't before).

The JLA is breaking down (well it was since Identity Crisis)

Hal Jordan is back as GL.

Plus tons more I am forgetting.

And Jason Todd, not enough is known to to make an concrete guesses at what his role will be in IC.

So, from a non-story line basis, what will Infinte Crisis be? DC's once a decade attempt to clean up the continuity messes made by rogue writers and editors who take liberties with the characters (often killing them left and right only to have them brought back to life). In the 80s it was Crisis on Infinite Earths, in the 90s it was Zero Hour-- is this just more of the same?
