Borateen: What can I say? He was telling the truth when he said he was clearing space for the new baby. I traded 20 comics for over 100 (although there was only about 15-20 in there that I really wanted, the rest will be read and then put back up for trade). But still! Can't complain getting that many comics that were in the good shape they were in.

Congrats on the new household edition, Borateen!

Just got my stuff from nateslate8. There was an address snafu, so they got here a little later than expected, but I wasn't in any hurry. It was Thursday or Friday (I think) when he emailed me that the comics were returned to him, and I got them today, so that's some EXCELLENT turn-around time. And there was a little something extra in there, which was totally unnecessary, but VERY welcome, so I say thanks to you, Nate.

I would definitely trade with Nate again, and not because of the extra, but because he's a easy guy to work with, and he's nice.

WHAT I'VE GOT:
I've got a mildly interrupted run of Busiek's Avengers run, the first several issues of what I think is the most recent Battle of the Planets volume, the first several issues of the current Black Panther run, the entire Green Lantern: Rebirth mini-series, almost every issues of the current JSA run, almost every issue of the current Birds of Prey run, and other stuff to, hopefully, be specified, later.

WHAT I WANT:
I've never done any trading here, but I'm interested in getting my feet wet. I'm mostly interested in obtaining trade paperbacks, though. Exceptions would be things that aren't in paperback form and aren't expected to be for some time, if ever, like late 70's/early 80's JLA issues, among other things.

I may get more specific as I see stuff I'm interested in and/or as I receive inquiries.

I got that EMERALD KNIGHTS tpb off of eBay, so that's off my "list."

Your best bet may be to just go to ebaY, search for items like those you want to sell, and see how much they're selling for. Searching through auctions that have already been completed is probably a good idea, too.

You know what they say about assumptions. NO trickery was implied on my part and I'm sure if any of the mods thought there was than they would have dealt with it accordingly. You could have easily agreed with west and moved on but you had to act like the tough guy know-it-all. I can read, I know it's a trading thread and I respect the "no selling rule" but if I would've posted this on the Comm board it would have got moved here anyways.

Hey everyone,

I'm moving soon and would really like to get rid of some of these books, less to move. I'm not looking for anything big, mostly tpbs or stuff that there doesn't seem to be much following or secondary market for. I'm more than wiling to trade heavily on your side as long as I'm getting books I want. Please, please, please help me get rid of some of my books!

I'm really interested in any tpbs from Sam Kieth and Grant Morrison, as well as Infinity Gauntlet from Marvel. Look at the first post. This thread's been going since May 17, 2004. It never dies. You post your trade list and your want list. If you update your lists, post them again. Other than that you just have to sit back and wait and see if anybody private messages you if they're interested. If they don't, chances are nobody's interested at the moment. Hell I check this thread every time someone posts something. I'm always looking. But I probably haven't made a trade on this board in 4 or 5 months. Sometimes, trading's slow.

Hi, everyone! I've been gon for a few months. Had some exciting developments in my life, new apartment, new job, and a lot more. Anyway, it's great to see this is still going, and I am excited to get started trading once again. I now have the bulk of my comics somewhere other than where I am living, but I can get to them pretty easily.

Wizard Poster books

When I decided to trash all of my Wizard issues, I also decided to attempt to make some collages, so I ripped out some pretty decent looking pages and covers out of the issues I trashed. But I'd love to have some of their posters. They're just the right size for some decent collages, I think.
