Okay, here’s the deal.

This is the remainder of my comic collection. I have sold the majority of it and traded a good portion of it for TPBs, but I need to get rid of the rest. I need the space and I don’t need this “collection” teasing me that I don’t collect anymore when I really, really want to.

Right now I'm looking for hardcover collections, trades, and OGNs. Ultimate Spider-Man, Absolute Authority, Absolute Planetary, Daredevil, New X-Men, Preacher, Amazing Spider-Man, Sandman, Miracleman (HAH!), Orbiter, JLA: Earth 2 slipcover, Alias, Kingdom Come, Astro City...stuff like that. If Bendis, Johns, Morrison, or Ellis wrote it, I'll probably want it. Ditto for artwork by Alex Ross or Carlos Pacheco. I might be interested in stuff I didn't list, such as just about any superhero TPB from the big two…maybe Image and Dark Horse, too. Let me know what you're looking to get rid of. I’ve got a very long want list that, if I forget to include it each week, you can email or PM me for and I’ll send you a PDF copy of it.

As an odd request, I'm also looking for any rare or import CDs that would contain tracks that the U.S. editions wouldn’t. Bands I’m looking for include Foo Fighters, Korn, Marilyn Manson, Garbage, Ok Go. I’m also on the lookout for CD singles that include non-album tracks. If you have any you’re looking to get rid of, let me know. Heck, ANYTHING dealing with the Foo Fighters (videos, documentaries, shirts, stickers, etc.) or any Spongebath Records bands (Self, The Features, The Katies, Fluid Ounces, Count Bass-D, etc.) should be considered fair game.

Other non-comic things I’m interested in include DVDs (Special/collector’s editions and TV seasons) and Stephen King hardback (with dust jacket in good condition) novels.

My want list is too large to post as an attachment, and I'd take up quite a few posts to get it all down, so just PM me with your email address and I'll email my list to you. It's in Word, PDF, or text format...just let me know what's easiest for you.

Also, if anyone is looking for books featuring a specific writer, artist, inker, character (heroes, villains, and supporting ones), or crossover but aren't sure what you need, my database is set up where I can easily search for these. Easy-search categories include creators (writers, artists (pencilers, inkers, layouts, finishes, and covers), characters (heroes, villains, supporting characters), teams, and crossovers/storylines. Let me know who or what you're looking for, and I'll search my collection to see what I've got.

I WILL trade over-seas (UniqueFrequency, I’m looking at you), but because of the cost of shipping I will only trade at a 1-to-1 ratio. Canadian traders still get the same deal as U.S. traders.

Here is how I conduct trades:

My want list is broken up into 4 sections: Must Haves, Would Like to Read, Wouldn't Mind Having, and I'll Take 'em If That's All You've Got. I think that most people I've traded with would say I'm fair. When conducting a trade, I like to trade even-Steven, value for value. Here's how I'd like to do my new system.

1. For my "I'll Take 'em If That's All You've Got" category, I'm trading at a 1.5-to-1 trade in your favor. Let’s say you’ve got a $20 TPB that you’re looking to trade with me. With this ratio, I’ll trade you $30 in comics.

2. For my "Wouldn't Mind Having" category, I'll do a 1.875-to-1 trade in your favor. Using the same $20 TPB, you’ll be getting $37.50 in comics.

3. For my "Would Like to Read" category, I'll do a 2.25-to-1 trade in your favor. Using the same $20 TPB, you'll be getting $45 in comics from me.

$. For my "Must Have" category, I'll do a 3-to-1 trade in your favor. Again with the $20 TPB as an example, you'll be getting $60 in comics from me.

I posted a similar message on the back issue hunting thread, but I'll repeat most of the info here. I'm in the process of preparing for a move and my wife has issued the ultimatum that either the comics go or I do. Boy, I'll miss her...

Damn. No, I have to stay with her. Otherwise, she'll insist that I get custody of the children and I just can't handle that.

Anyway, I spent the better part of last night going through umpteen boxes of comics. It would have been nice had I spent any time in the last, oh, ten years organizing them, but little late for that now. So far, I've uncovered lots of 80s to the present Marvel, some DC, some Image, some other indys. Like thousands of comics.

Most are in pretty decent condition. I'm not a professional grader, but I suspect most everything is VF to NM. On average, most of the books were read once and put away.

If anyone wants to PM me they're want lists, please do so and I'll see what I can do.

As for what I'd trade for, I'd love to replace the comics I'm trading away with TPBs or Marvel Masterworks or the DC hardcovers. Also would consider CDs, DVDs, books. I'm pretty flexible, as long as it doesn't take up a lot of room!

Okay, here’s the deal.

Right now I'm looking for hardcover collections, trades, and OGNs. Ultimate Spider-Man, Absolute Authority, Absolute Planetary, Daredevil, New X-Men, Preacher, Amazing Spider-Man, Sandman, Miracleman (HAH!), Orbiter, JLA: Earth 2 slipcover, Alias, Kingdom Come, Astro City...stuff like that. If Bendis, Johns, Morrison, or Ellis wrote it, I'll probably want it. Ditto for artwork by Alex Ross or Carlos Pacheco. I might be interested in stuff I didn't list, such as just about any superhero TPB from the big two…maybe Image and Dark Horse, too. Let me know what you're looking to get rid of. I’ve got a very long want list that, if I forget to include it each week, you can email or PM me for and I’ll send you a PDF copy of it.

As an odd request, I'm also looking for any rare or import CDs that would contain tracks that the U.S. editions wouldn’t. Bands I’m looking for include Foo Fighters, Korn, Marilyn Manson, Garbage, Ok Go. I’m also on the lookout for CD singles that include non-album tracks. If you have any you’re looking to get rid of, let me know. Heck, ANYTHING dealing with the Foo Fighters (videos, documentaries, shirts, stickers, etc.) or any Spongebath Records bands (Self, The Features, The Katies, Fluid Ounces, Count Bass-D, etc.) should be considered fair game.

Other non-comic things I’m interested in include DVDs (Special/collector’s editions and TV seasons) and Stephen King hardback (with dust jacket in good condition) novels.

I have a hardcover copy of Neil Gaiman's "Stardust" signed by the author that I'd be willing to trade.
