Holy crap, that was the best episode of JLU they've shown. So much ass kicking on both sides.

And I was actually surprised by the ending, but I should've seen it coming. If you're in the States and don't want to wait the couple months for it to come over here, here's a spoiler for you:
Lex Luthor uses the AMAZO plans to make a new body. He gets stopped and is revealed to be...

BRAINIAC

I'm actually quite amazed at what they've done with this series, even with the few flop episodes *cough*Hawk&Dove*cough*. Did this show get renewed yet?

Yes, it's already been confirmed for a 5th season.

Another great episode. I should've guessed from the title what was going on but didn't even think about it.

Great fight between Supergirl and, uh, the other one.

Great episode. Wow, Batman telling the JL founders off for surrendering. Batman with Waller (Waller's remote). Batman vs. Luthor. LUTHOR REVEALED!!! The missile attack on the Watchtower (from the inside, anyway). Power Girl vs. Super Girl.

Whew!

Best line in a show ever?

"Batman's running kidna late. Batmobile lost it's wheel. Joker got away. At least that's what I heard."

Zing!

Are there any plans to release the entire JLU season on DVD? I've bought a 3 episode pack of the earliest episodes, but I want the full run to catch up on what I've missed....OR Cartoon Network could wise up, cut back on the inferior anime-ripoffs and unfunny funny animal/kid toons and show JLU reruns throughout the week!

I like the fact that they're using the Ed McGuiness Brainiac designs. At first, I thought they'd go back to his previous design.

The Watchtower battle scenes pretty much rocked. A treat really. Especially that Powergirl/Supergirl battle and how it ended. And the way Powergirl was handling Steel with ease! Wow!

I liked the fact that the founding members of the Justice League had to make the hard decision of giving themselves up. In that one act, they showed how they weren't these gods who lived in a fortress in the skies, but heroes willing to do what was right, humble themselves, and act according to the law.

The fight scene, rocked of course. Big props to Steel for not only pointing out what makes the seven original members of the Justice League so unique, but also his stand against the evil clone of Supergirl. Great to see Creeper back as well.

I loved the way Batman told off the League for surrending.

But I have to agree that Flash's comeback about the Batmobile lost a wheel was perfection.

GREAT Episode.

The question is a dangerous man with a bed pan. supergirl will one day grow into power girl breasts and all. Super females are mean in a fight! Supergirl knows how to fight dirty!. Glad I was right about braniac combing with luthor. But was wrong how he combined. Thought it would be with nanobots [tiny microscopic robots] not some big ass robot! question, wouldn't a big ass robot inside a fellow be noted in a medical exsamine?

Not if big robot modified medical computer's scans....

The question is a dangerous man with a bed pan.

I can't help but feel that was a reference to how Rorschach killed that one guy by busting the toilet.

I loved that and Flash's line as well but, to me, Diana had the best line.

"He took that better than I thought."

Heh.

He was about to strike when the question got out of his sick bed and let the back shooter hace it with the bed pan!

The part about Power Girl calling the doctor "daddy" was a pretty "whoa!" moment to me.

To think Samurai, The Apache Chief, Black Lightning and the Wonder Twins could have been this cool.

What's a bed pan, btw?

For people too sick to get out of bed, they can drop or drizzle human waste right on their own bed pan....

Personally, at the end of the last episode I was kind of dissapointed with the army that was to attack the watchtower. I mean, Powergirl and a bunch of Ultimen? Thats the best they can do? I was hoping at least for Captain Marvel :). I know that he probably wouldnt go attack the watchtower blindly like Powergirl, but maybe Cadmus could have mind controlled a bunch of other heroes like Cap.

Loved the little Atom Smasher fight with the Native American strong guy.

I didn't really *get* that one. I've heard a couple of Batman rhymes in my time, but this is one I couldn't find. :p

No really, what's it mean?

I loved the way Batman told off the League for surrending. MAN was he harsh!

Then again, so was PowerGirl's last scene.

But I have to agree that Flash's comeback about the Batmobile lost a wheel was perfection.

It's a riff on Jingle Bells:

Jingle Bells
Batman smells
Robin laid an egg...

Batmobile lost its wheels
and Joker got away, HEY!

God, you hear the song ONCE in the first grade and you never forget it 18 years later :)

This show is gonna kill me one day. I'm afraid for the next episode tomorrow night, you know, I might not make it :).

Great episode. Just mind-blowing. So much awesomeness in one half-hour.

I loved Steel's speech about the original Justice League and how damned awesome they are. It was really cool that the big seven decided to turn themselves in, although the second Superman suggested that, my first thought was, "Clark, Bruce is *so* gonna kick your ass for that."

Diana's, "Actually, he took that better than I expected" after Batman yells at them was just priceless. Flash's line was great, too.

As for the fighting -- I was on the edge of my seat. From the missile launch to the free-for-all battles inside the Watchtower to the grand-slam throwdown between Power Girl and Supergirl, it was just amazing.

Seeing pretty *every* member of JL kicking ass was worth waiting this whole season for. Blue Devil got to kick ass, Atom Smasher threwdown with Long Shadow, Red Tornado fought off three Winddragons, Fire and Ice had lots of fighting, Huntress, Question and Atom all got a nifty moment, and my favourite moment out of the whole battle -- Steel, Hawk and Wildcat wiping out a legion of Winddragons are confronted by a giant Longshadow, so they all leap at him and bring him down. That was *great*.

And how vicious was the fight between the two Supergirls? Galatae's dialogue was really chillingly evil, and the fact that she pretty much wiped the floor with Supergirl was just amazing. The shot at the end of the electrocuted and twitching Galatae was just hardcore. How did they get away with that?

Batman proved that he can only be an episode for three scenes and *still* be the most badass person around, hands down. I loved how he dropped down into the Cadmus conference room, casually threw a batarang to disarm Eiling and then casually took him out with a right hook without even looking. And then the throwdown with Luthor -- bloody brilliant.

I think this is the first time ever where Batman's grapple has failed to work or snag something. Makes sense, though -- Luthor *would've* built his tower to keep all kinds of superheroes out, and Batman's one of the easier ones to prep for.

Amanda Waller confronting Luthor and melting the android body was a badass moment that almost stole Batman's thunder. And then, there was the slow reveal, and the original big 7 is standing there before him. I'm *hoping* that tomorrow night is a 20 minute throwdown with the Big 7 Leaguers.

And I loved the bait-and-switch there too. Luthor's building himself an Amazo -- makes sense, sort of -- because that's what he was up to all along.

And then -- boom, it was freakin' Brainiac aiming to build himself the ultimate body to inhabit! Ah! I'm hopin' there's a *little* more exposition next episode about this -- more importantly, what the heck happened to Luthor -- but who cares? I know it's petty and shallow, but I just want to see them all fight!

Cannot wait for tomorrow night, just cannot freakin' wait.
