I want to buy one of these three, all of which I've wanted for a while.
The "animated series" book with "mad love" in it.
"the greatest batman ever told"
"Broken City"
If I could only afford one, which to get out of those three? Thank you!

I'm a HUGE fan of the older stuff... so I would say the Greatest Batman Stories... but the animated stuff is awesome too.
Broken City... meh.

Thanks Shadow, I guess that narrows it down to two! I do have a few of the 70s Neal Adams, Marshall Rogers comics as British reprints, so I'm not sure how much I need the "greatest stories", though.

Not really one for the older stuff. But seeing as how I know nothing of Broken City, I'll have to go with The Animated Series books.

The animated series book for Mad Love and Mad Love alone.

What animated series book is that? Is that the one that reprints the annuals and the holiday special as well as Mad Love? Trouble is that I got one of teh two annuals and Mad Love. Still, I do want the annual and the special. I belive one of the stories, the first annual, has the first appearance of Roxy Rocket.

Batman Adventures: Mad Love
Either the first print or second print deliver the same story, so it doesn't matter which one you get.
Also, I read a trade a long time ago that reprints Mad Love along with other Batman stories. I remember there was a one or two page commentary that showed the panel of Harley Quinn that had to be changed. If anyone remembers, the panel is where Harley asks the Joker if he wants to ride his Harley ... the original sketch had her drawn with her knees up.

I would recommend the Batman animated series book with MAD LOVE.
Surprise, surprise. :D

Greatest Ever Told. A classic, and still one of my faves. But I've never read the animated one, so maybe you shouldn't listen to me.

I didn't think Mad Love was anything special. I much prefered some of the standard issues of Batman Adventures that I've read. I know I'm in the minority on this though

I'd take "Broken City". Love the art and perspectives of Eduardo Risso and Brian Azzarello is writing a fine crime noir-story.

can't really say for daviduninteresting ;) , but, YOU should read Mad Love! :D
