Oh, I have to agree. I also loved how Cadmus and the Justice League finally realize how Luthor played them both for fools and decide to cooperate to put a stop to Luthor's plans..
...And, of course, considering the big revelation at the end of this episode, I'm sure Luthor's lawyers are going to have a field day trying to get him off on the theory that Luthor wasn't in control of his actions..
Overall I liked the episode and it had a good twist ending. I was mad though that Hourman didn't take a pill to get his powers, but instead just tapped his wrists. I guess you wouldn't want to show a superhero who uses drugs to get his powers on a kid's show :p . Also it was sweet how Red Tornado brought down 3 of the other wind guys(whats his name again?) on his own.

I was mad though that Hourman didn't take a pill to get his powers, but instead just tapped his wrists. That tells you which Hourman it is, in case you wondered. It's Rick Tyler, the original's son. And that's how he gets his dose, per the current "JSA" comic book.

Just out of curiousity, how close was it to the original story?

I couldn't believe what happened to Galatea. And I couldn't believe they got away with showing what she looked like after it happened. Wow.

For a moment, I was afraid she was dead.. Then they showed her twitching fingers and I just snickered...

original story???
It was an old DC cossover with the same name. IIRC, it had something to so with Brainiac fighting ever major hero of the early 90's.
From what I've heard they don't match up.

I tried watching this episode today, but for some reason the video froze up after a few seconds, and all I got was audio. Anyone else have this problem?

Nowhere near it. They just nabbed the title because of where the action took place.

I think Galatea might be dead. Same thing happened to Plastique: after they get hurt they lay on the ground, fingers twitching. I think this might be the closest they can get to showing them actually die. I might be wrong...but I won't be surprised if "Power Girl" kicked the bucket.
Anyway...AWESOME episode. I love Bruce Timm and company so much...I really hope they don't quit the animated DCU anytime soon.

Panic in the Sky also made sense for a title because of the Brainiac appearance. It also appears he's based on the Brainiac 13 design which is cool. I'm wondering however just how Lex is going to survive this latest Luthor/Brainiac "team up". Was it a cloned body? If not will he get a nanotech patch job?

I enjoyed the episode too. The Kara/Galatea brawl was vicious. Poor Steel got trounced pretty bad too.

Anyone mind if I ask what programs you're using to get this episode? I have four different copies off Limewire and they're all of them unplayable.

I use Windows Media Player Classic (just google it if you want to find it) and get my downloads via bittorrent and Torrent Site Status (http://www.orbdesign.net/bt/results.php?sitefilter=1&query=Justice+League+Unlimited).

Awesome show!!!
There were some pretty brutal moments in that show that I'm surprised they got away with, especially Supergirl's battle (and poor Steel  ).
Great to see all the weird & wonderful leaguers popping up:
Breif appearances of : Sand & Hourman
The scrappers: Wildcat, Hawk & the other Steel
The Creeper!!!
Batman & Waller's chat
The finale, who saw that coming?! (again:  ).
Can't wait to get the nexy episode.
So, are there only 13 episodes to this season? That's all that;s listed on IMDB. (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0275137/)

Sounds to me like some people need some comic book schoolin'. Panic in the Sky was originally a title of probably the best Superman episode from the George Reeves Adventures of Superman TV show. Superman diverts an asteroid from hitting the earth and gets amnesia. Usually called one of the best of the old series. Here's a fumetti version of it.

I just saw it tonight on Cartoon Network and I have one thing to say:
Holy frickin' crap that was cool!
And I didn't see that ending coming at all. Wow.
My favorite parts were the big fight scenes with the Ultimen. Like "Dark Heart" we get to see all the lesser known Leaguers in action. I was cheering for Red Tornado and S.T.R.I.P.E. and Fire and a few others that had good moments.
What a good episode! It makes me anzious for next week.

Holeeee friggin' crap!
OK, it's official. These guys must never, ever, EVER leave DC Animation. Doesn't matter what show they want next it could be friggin Wonder Twins and they can make it cool.
This is hands down, one of the best series (animated or otherwise) on television today. The fights, the dramatic backstories, did I mention the fights? The fact that so many wonderful characters are given chances to shine and sound like they're supposed to. You can tell this is a labor of love.
I can only hope that they are willing to come back for another season. You ask how can they hope to top this?
I have an idea.
One word: Crisis.

You do know the Ultimen are based off the Superfriends only characters, right?
Windragon = Samurai.
Jolt = Black Vulcan (Yes, I know about the Black Lightning situation but Jolt is supposed to be BV and this wouldn't make sense without him).
Longshadow = Apache Chief.
Downpour = Zan of the Wonder Twins.
Shifter = Jayna of The Wonder Twins.
No Gleek, though. Or Wendy, Marvin and Wonder Dog. Or a bunch of other Superfriends characters like El Dorado.

You know the DCUA team just might make their own version of Wendy, Marvin and Wonder Dog and actually make them cool. The concept boggles the mind but ever since they managed to make the Clock King badass all those years ago I've learned that you can't set your expectations too high with these guys.

After being destroyed and rebuilt TWICE since the series started, Red Tornado shows how powerful he really is. Almost ALL of the members outside the Big 7 got there shiots in. Several "Hell YEAH!" moments during that fight with Galeta and the Ultimen. Even the TECH CREW stood their ground (i hope they didn't get eaten)!
Best group brawl since the showdown with the Secret Society.

The JLU cartoon has some holes but it is given some slack for the sake of telling a good story.
Maybe that kind of tolerance could be afforded to comics as well ;)

Nothing like it, except for Braniac's involvement. "Panic In the Sky" ran through the Superman titles and was a follow-up to the Warworld story that Superman ran across in Superman: Exile.
....and "holy frickin' crap" sums it up about right! JLU last night was awesome! Great to see the super-heroes in one massive brawl. Shocking to see how Galatea handled Steel, but happy that a lot of the DCU characters made a cameo appearance.
Can't wait until next week! :D

LOL at Flash saying the Batmobile lost its wheel, the Joker got away.
That was great! Along with "TA DA!" at the end.
Not to mention the greatness that is Batman!
"You want me to WHAT!?" "This is the single dumbest plan I ever heard." "I don't have to do anything. I'm a part-timer remember?"
And the way he so casually bataranged Eiling and then gave him what he so richly deserved....one hell of a punch! :evilsmile
Loved this ep! All around! Galatea...OUCH! She was owning Kara untill that moment. Nice speech by Steel too about the big 7. And Kara could have at least put Atom somewhere else than just back on the floor...I kept thinking someone was going to step on him.
