Robins 1 and 3 are still alive but 2 and 4 have died. So, does this mean if there is a Robin 5 he/she will live to have a long life?

Apparently it's like being an odd numbered Trek movie. Bad news all the way.

Huh. I've never really pondered on that before. Good thinking. :D

dude, everyone knows that there are three great curses in our modern society:

1) the curse of the even numbered robins

2) the curse of the odd numbered star treks

3) the curse of being on the cover of sports illustrated.

Stephanie Brown (Spoiler) became Robin IV.
Which kinda makes Tim 3 and 5.

4) The "Best New Artist" curse.

So, if Tim is technically 3rd and 5th, does that mean the next Robin will be 6th and will probably fall to the "Curse of the Even Numbered Robins"?

Or would you ignore Tim's leave of absence and count him/her as 5th?

Depends in if they die. If so, they were 6. If not they're 5. :p

Well, he was just #1,so he's fine.
And Carrie doesn't really count. (Could be interesting if they introduce her, and GJ sorta did in Teen Titans.)

I believe you can see her grave in "Titans Tomorrow"

Please, no more dead Robins. Have we not seen enough bloodshed already?

In all serious though, they shouldn't make killing off a Robin a regular thing. It just makes A Death in the Family less significant. It'd be tiresome. Maybe the 6th Robin just turns evil or something, succumbs to the "dark side", maybe adopts Todd's ideology. Something fresh anyway.

On that note, I think Stephanie's coming back to wreak vengeance on Black Mask much like Todd did to Joker.

YES! And let her go with Selina then. They both have issues with Mask.

Did not mean to open this can of worms. I guess that Tim could be Robin 3 and 5 but Steff was 4 so it reverted (Tim as 3) back. So, the next Robin will be 5. As kinada new reader, she was a Robin. So, Batman will lose people on his quest and he will learn. I recall reading that Tim said that all of his traning was to avoid Jason's death.

Well, um, that and the fact that everyone in Young Justice met her when she was alive. So most of the Teen Titans should know of her and know she was Robin's girlfriend.

But of course that was never mentioned in the pages of Teen Titans, just as most of the adventures of Young Justice are never mentioned.

I think she's coming back too. Maybe during the year jump.

Carrie Kelley? Cause that's who I meant, not Steph.

You're thinking of Stephanie, right? Carrie was never really introduced in normal continuity, was she?

I blame the curse squarely on Babe Ruth's sunken piano.

What about the curse of being on the cover of Madden

Do fans like Odd number Robins better than even numbered ones? From recently reading ADitF I saw the the vote was decently close.

How did Steph die excactly and did Batman even care (like did he even mourn her death)?

His basic view was "It was her own fault, get over it Tim and Cassandra!"

Wasn't she basically a sacrificial lamb?? Basically created so they could kill her off?? If so, a cheap gimmick that shows DC has no respect for these characters anymore.

Of course, I didn't actually read any of these issues, so keep that in mind. :D

I don't know how she died but in 634 he was mourning somebody I think it was her. Her mom stopped by her grave when BW was there and said that Batman was a criminal and should be locked up just the same as the other lunatics.

I think she died during the Gang War the preceded this current arc.

Stephanie was Tim's love interest.
Spoiler was pretty much Batgirl's Robin.
Robin IV was a sacrificial lamb.

Could you explain this to someone like me, who hasn't picked up a Batman comic in over ten years?? I just picked up the first Hush TPB, so I'm a little out-of-touch.

Thanks!
