I just read Joe Fridays (06/10) (http://www.newsarama.com/JoeFridays/JoeFridays7.html) and at the end of the article he says, "And I can’t decide which is more shocking, the last page of House of M #3 or Young Avengers #5?"

Now we all know how much Marvel has been hyping HoM #3, but where did this come from about YA #5? I have been looking forward to each issue of YA, but now I can't wait to see what this is about.

Oh crap, it's WHO kills him, isn't it?
If it's Jessica, I reiterate, I'll kill Allan.

If it is Jessica? This story happens BEFORE New Avengers, who are already around in the Pulse 11, where....

well, I won't spoil it, but, I'm not as worried as you are Gaz.

I think he means that Jessica is the murderer.

I think he means that Jessica is the murderer.
Precisely, I can see it, as she's obviously upset about her baby in YA, but honestly, I love the character and would consider dropping the title if he did that.
Hey! Maybe he kills himself, to prove he can CHOOSE not to be Kang! :)

But I doubt it would happen...if an Avenger kills Iron Lad, they would never refer to themselves as the Young Avengers again. They would have to change the name of the comic.

But if Iron Lad was killed wouldn't Kang cease to exist? Temporal flow in the MU has always confused me.

It would then become a different time line or something like that. But then again, I am not worried to much, hard to be upset over a character that has been around for 5 months.

I have a hard time seeing Jessica Jones being turned into a murderer outside of her own book.

Well i have a big feeling that something will happen to Iron lad, whether he is killed or kills himself. And if reality is altered for the worse, HoM might deal with that change...

Maybe Iron Lad doesnt truely die but instead finally turns to the dark side and becomes evil?

What, like, "fatality" might mean someone dies that's not on the team?
Didn't some genius call that months ago? *whistles nonchalantely*

But the sentence specifies the team's first fatality--that wording suggests that it is a member of the team that dies.

Firstly, WOW! I didn't mean she was the murderer. Cool, though, it has led to some interesting speculation and discussion. No, I was more referring to a spoiler about Pulse 11, not YA 5. Sorry for the confusion, I can totally see where it came from, but it wasn't my intention.

However...

This doesn't hold up though, because Jessica is in no way shape or form an Avenger, never has been, and isn't when YA takes place, or the present Marvel Universe. That being said, I wouldn't suspect her, but it could be her, as much as it could be ANYONE in the title.

I meant she might be the killer. :D
And I do know that #11 is the baby issue, right?

Alright, that's it.

Spoil The Pulse #11. Put it in its little spoiler tags and all, but do it. I can't take this.

If the baby dies or something, I'll hunt Brian down and make him read everything Chuck Austen ever wrote.
It's a bimonthly, which makes it worse, don't it? :D

Well, The Pulse #11 isn't out yet. All we know is that Jessica is finally having her baby in that issue. Oh, also that issue will also apparently address the question of whether or not Luke Cage is getting a costume.

Or worse, HoM might have to reverse that change... and in effect, erase whatever is about to happen!
;)
Conversely, the HoM might CAUSE whatever is about to happen, and the death will reverse that!
I'm confused!

Looking at how the young Kang is so nice and actually helps form the Young Avengers, there has to be some event that causes him to hate the Avengers if you believe he really turns out to be the Kang from the future. That is why I think that the Avengers are going to force him to go with Kang which causes him to go down the path where he tries to destroy the Avengers time and time again.

Maybe he's FORCED to kill Kang, and the revelation that he comes to after he does is that, in a sence, he just killed HIMSELF. And then becomes so tortured and disturbed by that fact that he BECOMES Kang.

It sounded a lot better in my head. I'm with Jessica, I hate time travel. :p
