View Full Version : Off to Bangkok!
I'm off for the weekend to Bangkok! My ex and I have kind of rekindled our romance and we're heading off to Bangkok for a little rendezvous. We're staying at my cousin's place and it's so good to have someone to show us around. Bkk can be a bit dangerous if you get in the wrong spots.
Mmm...Mango with sticky rice, drenched in coconut milk, roast duck red curry, big prawn tom yam soup....Yummy! :p
And then i gotta follow the woman around shoppin. :evilangry
But we'll be in bkk! So its cool! I love highly competitive budget airlines giving cheap ass flights around South East Asia! Consumers win! (Thats me!)
Cya! Updates to come. ;)

Good luck, cowboy.
Yeee-hah !
Arrived safely! You can all breathe a sigh of relief.
Had dinnner with my cousins and aunt. I had a really yummy beef green curry and some really good shredds of roasted pork knuckle....with delish bits of crackle!
Then went walking down the red light district and got approached by the strip club touters....interesting signage for tourists: "Woman shoot out banana show"

Do they serve Masaman down there?
And what were you doing bringing your girlfriend to the red light district?!

Wow, I am so jealous! Thailand and New Zealand are the two places that I want to visit most in the world.
Have a fantastic and safe trip :)

Well. Who needs culture ?
I’m baaaack! Omg this was such a great trip!
I went with my ex-gf and we had a great time. On Saturday my cousin took us down to the beach, about a 2 hr drive from BKK, near Hua Hin – a resort town. She took us to this cool boutique hotel on a secluded beach away from the touristy resorts.
It was so nice because it’s right on the beach and there’s only 8 chalets there. And the decorations are all done up nicely and with little romantic touches. (The owner’s wife is an artist who did all the decorating) The shower is at the back and is open air with a view of a green mountain in the background. And little touches like the soap wrapped in a banana leaf and red hibiscus flowers on the bed made it so romantic.
We arrived in the evening and after some really good thai food we retired to the salt water pool. It faces the beach. And we brought out a bottle of vodka and orange juice and sat there listening to the ocean and staring up at the sky. It was so beautiful, the sky was clear and there were so many stars.
In the morning we had breakfast by the beach and they do little things like set the butter in sea shells a present it with a lot of flowers from the garden. And then we went for a long walk along the beach.
Sigh. Best holiday ever. :D
