Mike has inspired me to post some drawings from when I was a kid.
First up, Frankie the Falcon. He's an anti-hero who plays for both sides. http://img230.echo.cx/img230/8779/frankiefalcon2oc.th.jpg (http://img230.echo.cx/my.php?image=frankiefalcon2oc.jpg)
Next, Bernard the Genius Dog. He's kind of the Obi-Wan of the universe of characters I created. http://img230.echo.cx/img230/7085/bernardthegeniusdog0xp.th.jpg (http://img230.echo.cx/my.php?image=bernardthegeniusdog0xp.jpg)
Finally, we have the Bobcat. He does what he does pretty well. And his few extra pounds don't slow him down. http://img230.echo.cx/img230/3669/thebobcat6vt.th.jpg (http://img230.echo.cx/my.php?image=thebobcat6vt.jpg)
Dig, kids. Dig.

I really liked this post. I couldn't figure Frankie out until I realized that he was sideways. I think that's what's going on. Anyway, I got a kick out of this.

Yeah, Frankie's sideways. My scanner's not big enough to do it the other way.
But, thanks for looking. I figured since Mike's been showing us his old stuff for a while now, one of us might as well return the favor.
Bernard the Genuis Dog deserves his own book,

How old were you exactly?

Those are great, Aaron....!
I would hope that everyone saved their childhood drawings... but most people move on from drawing and forget them. They might have vague memories of drawing as children.... but so often kids give up for one reason or another. Eventually, they end up in the trash or lost in a move.

MAYBE nine?
I was in elementary school, that's for sure.

Thanks, Mike!
Yeah, I found a big notebook full of old drawings when I moved last year. It's kind of embarrassing to look at some of them, though......Most are of goofy-looking animals with names like Benny the Bear; and the ones that aren't-- just rip-offs of established characters. I mean, the Bobcat? Who was I trying to fool there? I gave him the same exact colors as Wolverine, even!
If anyone else still has drawings from when they were little, go ahead and post 'em.

If I can dig up the Kool-Aid Man comic I made when I was six, I'll be sure to post it.
