I'm sold on it already because Wildthing(Wolvie's MC2 kid) is on the cover.

im not getting this, but i just wanted to say that spider-man 2099 looks pretty cool on the cover. that was a good, different character design.

Wildthing from the MC2 universe... same one as Spider-Girl. She had an onging which had issues #0-5.

I thought Neil Gaiman insisted 1602 was Earth 616 and in continuity, such as it wasn't

I think I'll be picking it up though... it's got Bamfs

it was. but like AOA, it split off into its own universe at the end of the mini

That is one sweet cover. Tom Grummet can be quite the slick cat, if I may say so. ;)

Okay, let's see--

Overhead: StarBrand(New Universe), Spider-Man 2099, Spider-Ham, Spider-Girl

Dead Center: Hyperion(pre-JMS Squadron Supreme)

Left side: Deathlok, Yondu(Guardians of the Galaxy), Steve Rogers(Earth X) and Wild Thing.

Right side: Cable, Bishop, Arkon, Logan and Kate Pryde-Rasputin(Days of Future Past), Matthew Murtaugh(1602) and a Bamf(Kitty's Fairy Tale).

Cool.

Only the coolest knock-off ever:
Bamf!

Shame on you.

Arkon

I might be wrong, but I think that's Killraven. Just in time for his Essential volume in July.

And somehow, the fact that Bamf and Mean will now be in an official handbook makes me as giddy as a Japanese schoolgirl. Woohoo!
:D

(And, I didn't want to be the one to bring it up or anything, but... damn! Hyperion certainly looks to be proving he's Superman's equal in every way, if you know what I mean. I thought I was the only one who could afford to smirk like that...)

Yeah. Well, when you're invulnerable, I guess it can't hurt too bad...

Ouch.
