Just curious:

How many of you would see 'Jaws' if it was re-released in the movies for the anniversary?

I would see it two or three times. My parents wouldn't let me see it when it originally came out on the bigscreen. Right before the release of Jaws II, our next-door neighbors were the first in our neighborhood to get Home Box Office. I watched Jaws about a million times that summer and it has been my favorite movie since.

I'd probably watch it. But since I've never seen any of the Jaws movies, I wouldn't know what I'd be getting myself into. But at least I could brag to my friends that I saw Jaws.

wow. . .

you've never seen "Jaws" ?

TNT seems to show it every few days.

the film IS brilliant tho. . scares in all the right places, and a feeling of dread that grows w/ every frame.

great film.

Just make sure it is the original Jaws directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Roy Scheider, Robert Shaw and Richard Dreyfuss.

There is a really nice 25th Anniversary DVD in widescreen. Beautiful transfer for both sound an picture.
