There has really been some great information in here. This last column is a perfect case in point with The Pitch. It's one of the most important components of getting a project off the ground but it's almost impossible to find information or tips on how to do it. I looked around forever and finally found a good article and the Platinum Comics website that went over it.

Now it's all here and convenient. Thanks again!

Ditto. This has been an invaluable series of articles, and I've been applying each step to my own ideas, helping me to make some good headway.

You're doing an excellent job of making the steps clearly and easily understood, and the sample story In Extremis is a great example that illustrates the points of each article effectively.

And a bonus: since I began following this series, I've begun reading your entire column as well, and Permanent Damage is rapidly becoming one of my favorite weekly reads.

If you check the archives of Marv Wolfman's old column at Silver Bullet comics, I think he did a couple of columns on it too

What I like about this series is the way it is written. I have been saving each section and giving them to the English's teachers at my school. I think the kids could really learn something from them about elements like plot, theme, ect.

Why not?

It looks like it's going to go on long enough to make a decent essay, at least.

I suspect that Grant has some inside info on the subject.
