So what does everyone think of his latest cd?

I wasn't expecting much but I'm pleasantly surprised.
His voice is really slick on the album and I don't think there's a duff track on it.
Go! and Chi-City are stand out tracks for me.

I hadn't heard any Common prior to "The Corner", so I wasn't sure what to expect from the album. The album turned out to be excellent. I don't normally go in for the more soulful rap, at least lately anyways, but this stuff was really well done. I really like his voice and lyrical skills. Lots of great lines, especially on "Chi-City".
My respect for Kanye has risen a little too. I might have to check out College Dropout now, based on the production on this album and on the Game's "Dreams".
Out of the limited amount of rap I've heard this year, Be has gone to the top of my favourites list.

It's a fine album, but in my opinion, it's nothing exceptional. Kanye's production was better on College Dropout, and while Common has a smooth and soulful flow, I don't think there's anything radically new about his delivery here. His lyrics are entertaining, though.
In the same category, I think that The Roots latest album, "The Tipping Point", was infinitely better.

I like it myself.
My favorite tracks are "GO" and "Faithful"

Be is an excellent album, it features some of the best Kanye production ive heard. Cant go forgetting the Jay Dee produced tracks on there though.
A really solid album with no filler, and the track 'Be' wow, love the bassline with that nice sounding keyboards

I wouldn't have thought Common would flow this nice over Kanye beats, but he does good. I'm definitely enjoying this one.

I think, when it's all said and done, Kanye's name is gonna be up there with Premier and Pete Rock and Dre an 'em. Just watch.

It's almost done, in my opinion. If "Late Registration" is as good as "College Dropout", Kanye will have proven that he's more than the "high-pitched voices" producer.
