I was re-reading "Here Comes Tomorrow" the Marc Silvestri/Grant Morrison story and in it Beak is all grown up... where is he currently?

He's appearing in Exiles.
I don't read Exiles... but they jump from one dimension to another correct?

IIRC they do that because their reality is no more... was Beak not from the regular Marvel U?

You are correct... I should have phrased my question differently!

They do it because their dimension has been damaged and needs fixing; Blink (and later Sabretooth) were the only ones whose dimensions were actually destroyed (the AoA, obviously). But it's recently been revealed that the being who set this mission for them -- the Timebroker -- was a group of intelligent bug-aliens who accidentally screwed up time, and were using the Exiles to help fix it. They recruited Beak to help them overthrow Hyperion, who had taken control of their headquarters (he was the ideal choice because he's "good at making friends"... in this case, two alternate dimension Hyperions). But that story just ended last issue, so whether Beak will remain with the Exiles or head home (as he wants to do) is up in the air until next month.

No, it's because they got unhinged from time. Typically because an alteration in their reality changed their histories. And only by fixing their reality, via fixing other realities, can they return to their correct unaltered reality. Beak is a special case though, he was chosen because he was determined to be the candiate with the best percentage chance of doing what needs to be done. Read the Timebreakers arc for that explaination. :)

Beak's return to 616 better get covered somewhere, at least show him reuniting with Angel and his kids.

And then ask "Where's nocturne?"

Beak better get really peeved at Nocturne, for not doing what she promised. She said she'd watch over his babies for him, and just walked off with 'GRCM' instead. :p

That would actually be a nice little moment in Excalibur, Beak gets pissed that she's gallavanting around with Cain and Brian when she made a promise to him.

Captain Britain: It's not TJ's fault she got stuck inside an intelligent black hole for the last year. It's THIS guy's!
*grabs Austen by throat*
Nocturne: Yeah, he made it happen!
*hands Beak his bat*

Just FYI, the AoA Universe appears to still exist (even though this doesn't make any sense).

I've read in this forum that Nocturne will be appearing in the new Excalibur series.

You'd think, that since they are in control now, the Exiles would go get TJ and tell her whats up and let her go home. Wouldn't you?

And yeah, you'd think that Beak would at least do the projection thingie into 616 to see his kids.
(Actually, I think they're saving that for HoM)

Actually, Mimic, Morph and Nocturne all had pretty good lives on their home worlds. But Mimic loves Blink, so he won't go home. Morph has already said that the Exiles are his family and he won't go home. And Nocturne is not even an Exile anymore, so she won't go home.

Wasn't that the time screw-up, that would (supposedly) be fixed by the Exiles dimesion hopping. Morph ended up as a liquid in a beaker in Hank McCoy's refrigerator. The flashback story of Nocturne's days with the X-Men showed a pretty standard X-Men-type life, complete with friends and family.
