Me too, I like the bird helmet motif that the Thanagarians are into. The people of Rann just seem bland and too retro in a Gernsback sort of way.

Actually, it was less of an import and more of an accidental happenstance. Strange just happen to teleport there in a moment of need and decided to keep returning out of love and admiration. He'll find some some intelligent way to get out of this... and if he doesn't, he'll shoot his way out.
