if you all pop over and ask Damien for it he'll hook you up... i've downloaded the first 15 minutes to check it out and now I'm at about 50% through the rest of the download so in about 2 hours I'll put up a link to download it here for all.

it's really good from what I've seen so far in the first few minutes... and the song that starts it?

"There, There" by Radiohead

and Michelle Forbes is perfect...

I HEART EMPERORCROWLEY!

I'm just thinking that if it gets spread around enough there might be a faint chance that WB takes notice

Everyone should pop by Futurius and say a howdy.

I just posted in that thread. I LOVED GF, and would do nearly anything to see the pilot.

I just finished watching it and it's really fantastic...a near perfect adaptation. bit sluggish in spots and the ending is a bit typical but overall decent.

ABC should have picked it up and wedged it between Lost and Alias, or Fox would have done well to set it next to 24

I think the WB didn't have anything to pair it with since Angel was off the air.

What is it?

it's by Warren Ellis and it's about a super covert agency that has 1001 agents worldwide with varying skills to solve problems.

a smart mob basically, Miranda Zero is their leader and Aleph is their "Oracle"

or ever...

I'm just thinking that between House and 24, GF could have fit nicely as opposed to WB where One Tree Hill and Gilmore Girls don't exactly fit GF

PS... I'll shoot you a link tommorow via PM

If I could have a Tuesday night where I went from N.C.I.S. to House to Global Frequency, I don't think I'd need another night of television(1).

(1. That's not true, I need my Stargate/Battlestar fix on Fridays.)

the guys at the V made some good point about how the cell phone is treated as though it's FUTURE technology!

it has an ear piece! and a GASP camera!

it has an ear piece! and a GASP camera!Future man, you are c-razy!

I recall reading, somewhere, BadSignal maybe, that Ellis was worried that the GF phones would look like something you could pick up from a store. I suppose a year ago, ear buds and cameras weren't standard.

They weren't when I bought my two years ago phone anyway.

It seems that the camera in the phone is very hi-res, is able to catch & send video quickly, scan documents, and be used to tap into security systems via Aleph.

Also, the actor playing Dr. Katrina Finch? WHAT A CUTIE! She looks so much like a friend of mine...ugh.

imagine if WB hadn't cancelled Angel... did BoP right, picked up Firefly and had GF.

I think they're ratings would be thru the roof... at least among us geeks

did BoP rightNow for everyone favorite game: Apopheniliac! The real name of the actress playing Aleph is Aimee Garcia; when Oracle started working for Suicide Squad she used the alias "Amy Beddoes." The prominent female field agent on Global Frequency was a blonde woman named "Finch."

"Aimee" behind the keyboard. A blonde, bird in the field. Dude, GF is BoP done right. :)

AWESOME! IT LEAKED!

Now if someone could PM me with a link.... ?

Actually, if someone could make a torrent on like isohunt (or is that too public?) that would be awesome. This bit of goodness needs to get out! I sure hope it has some slim chance of still getting picked up.

PLah, seems those Torrentspy links you sent out are dead torrents. I looked on Isohunt and that showed nothing but dead ones too. Well, I think I shall be keeping an eye oyt for a torrent or waiting for it to show up on Direct Connect.

What he said. Godddamn I hate TV networks. If this was yet another Law and Order or CSI franchise, I'm sure they'd have no problems finding a spot for it.
