Rather than have 6 different "Who would you have play ___?" threads, why not put them all in one?
Who would you like to see cast as the various Bat-villains?
Joker?
Two-Face?
Poison Ivy?
Black Mask?
Riddler?
Mad Hatter?
Harley Quinn?
Mr Freeze?
Penguin?
Bane?
Feel free to add any more that you want.

Definately not Jude Law for Joker, I'm sorry, he's too much of a "handsome, pretty boy" actor for the Joker. Crispin Glover all the way.

Clayface - Bruce Campbell with the right makeup, it could really work. If you saw him in Bubba Ho-Tep it makes sence, he has a good base face...if that makes sence. Good voice for it too.

I have to agree that Danny Devito makes the perfect Penguin. ...Although I'd like to see how well he could do without the freak make-up, focusing more on the "sophisticated high society wannabee" concept...

The reason I mentioned Jude Law for The Joker, is because I believe Law would give The Joker a certain charm up on the big screen that hasnt been seen yet. And his "pretty boy" looks can be easily concealed with makeup.
With females, it may be a little difficult to see why Harley Quinn became so obsessed with The Joker when it's Crispin Glover playing him. But if it's Jude Law behind the makeup, I think it would make it a bit more believeable (in a Hannibal/Clarice kinda way).
But this is of course assuming that Harley Quinn will even be in the sequel. I, for one would love to see her included. But thats ultimately up to Nolan and Co.
Although I do agree that Crispin is definately the better choice overall.

Jude Law would make a great Joker, a little make-up effects and hes got it. Also, hes a much better actor than Crispin Glover.

Including Harley Quinn in the new Batman movies would be a very bad idea.

That's what I mean, he's TOO charming to play the Joker. Joker's never been a ladie's man. And I don't think that would be the right way to go.
I've always thought the reason why Harleen Quinzell fell in love with the Joker is becuase she saw something(however misguided it was) inside him that "nobody else saw before." That's more of the Hannible/Clarice thing to me.

I dont know. I think Law is a good enough actor that can downplay his charm if the role required for him to do so.
You're probably right about the reason why Harley fell for The Joker, but I just dont think it would really work well for the audience if it's Crispin in the makeup. But like I said before, this is considering Harley will even appear in the sequel.
I think The Joker should have the ability to charm (although I agree with the notion that he shouldnt be anywhere near a ladies man), and be a very charamastic individual. But then be one of the most coldest, sadistic people on the face of the planet at the simple drop of a hat.
Hence the Clarice/Hannibal comparison.

I get what you're saying. I also doubt there will be a Harley Quinn in any of them, too much away from Joker. Maybe as a comic book reference, one of his psychiatrists at Arkham could have a nametag that says H. Quinnzell. But I still say that the Joker should in no way be charming or anywhere close to a ladie's man. He, in lack of a better term, is kind of like a loser. He strikes me as the kinda guy that would have to do some pretty out-there, insane, stuff to get a girl. But then again there is Harley. Like I said before:to her, there was just something about him. What? I have no idea.

Guess theres somebody for everybody.
Like Tom Petty would say, "Even the loser's, get lucky sometimes". :D
Even though I honestly wouldnt mind seeing Harley in the new franchise, I agree that she would probably take too much away from The Joker.
A simple reference like you mentioned above would be a nice little wink to the fans.

Yeah, a cute little reference back to comic book roots. "Paging Doctor Quinnzell, Paging Doctor Quinnzell" Heh heh you know that she's in a world of trouble. Mistah J. ;)

I've read somewhere that there will be some mentions of other villians in "Batman Begins" (other than The Joker) when Batman enter's Arkham Asylum.
I'm not exactly sure if thats 100% accurate or not, but if it is, I would think not to expect any references to any of the major bat villians.
A Killer Croc, Mr. Zsasz, or Ventriloquist/Scarface reference would be cool.
I doubt we would be seeing a Riddler or Penguin reference (what would Penguin be doing there anyways), but who knows?

Yeah, in a Wizard article Nolan said there would be a few familiar names in the Asylum. I can't wait for it. I wonder WHO it's gonna be? I've seen the 10 minute preview on the net, and I saw where he was running through Arkham, and where the camera panned a few doors with people looking through little windows, but if there were any names on them, I couldn't see becuase it was too blurry.
