I'm a reasonably big fan of Garth Ennis and have recently noticed this 303 malarky. Has anybody read it at all? Is it any good? How long is the series? Is there a trade out/coming out?

Yes, in fact the first two issues are quite good. I think it's definitely worth picking up. And Jacen Burrows' art is simply the best he's ever done.

He's simply using it as a general term, kind of a synonym for "stuff", or "thing".

Indeed, I thought "malarky" was a term used by (usually) old men who know nothing about a particular thing (like the context I used it in). In my line of work you get a lot of clueless customers saying "so, what's all this X-cube-station malarky all about then?" which is where I got the idea for using the word.

All Avatar Press titles seldom ship. If there's one thing I'm certain of, it's that Avatar fans have patience.

finOK, gotcha. Malaryky has a negative connotation in my world, sooooo ...
But you really should check out the book. I think it's well worth it. It's Ennis doing what he does best and Burrows really pushing himself artistically. Oh, and the colors on this series by Nimbus are some of their best. Greg does great work.

Thanks, I'll need to see if I can grab the issues at the nearest store.

It seemed like this book was on something like a bi-monthly schedule at first.
I hope #5 hasn't shipped without me noticing.
