Does anyone have any recommendations?

The best sugggestion I can offer is The Early Days featuring Iron Maiden, the centrepiece of which is an excellent 90-minute documentary on how they formed and the band's rise to power.

I love watching Roy Orbison's Black and White Night, but I don't have too many DVDs.

I have TONS of Music DVD's. . the ones I end up watching over and over?

AC/DC : Family Jewels (just came out, and it's fantastic)

Cyndi Lauper: Live at Last (a DVD of her most recent concert tour. . wonderful sound, and a good collection of her songs)

U2: Evolution Live
&
U2: the videos (I THINK that's what it's called). a live show, and a DVD featuring EVERY video they've ever done -- including tons of alternate videos by different directors (you can find the alternates "hidden" in the "by song" list menu).

also excellent is the DVD that comes w/ the new Judas Priest CD (but I dont think they're selling the DVD separate).

as well as the last Sinead O'connor DVD. .but it's really not a DVD you watch, rather I put it on while cleaning and just listen to it -- as she's kind of boring to watch.

and, of course, if you are a KISS fan in the least, "Alive IV: Symphony", with the Australian Symphony is fantastic, as is the "Extreme Closeup/Exposed" dual DVD that Best Buy sells.

I havent' seen the new Ramones DVD, but AI hear it's good. .and I've heard good things about Metallica's "some kind of Monster"
