I was able to buy the Platinum covers for them with the signed posters by Brian Pulido but can't find any info on them as to how much they are worth so far.

They are worth probably half of what you paid for them.
"instant collectibles" like these never really retain thier "book" value. . it's a scam to get more money out of the consumer.
Since I'm a horror fan, and a Pulido (ie: Chaos!) fan , I picked up all three.
the best of the bunch is easily the Texas Chainsaw Massacre (best storytelling, and keeping the tone of the film (remake)).
2nd best would be Nightare, and the weakest is F13, which unfortunately would be laughed out of the theatres if it were produced as a film. I suppose Pulido was trying something new (these are Jason's woods, and there's a curse. . etc. . . ) but it just doesn't work. and the poorly drawn teens stoping to have sex after a HELICOPTER BLOWS UP?. . .just shoddy excuse for writing to keep the characters there so Jason can kill them.
TCM: B Nighmare: C F13: D
as I said tho, if you bought these as an investment, or for thier "worth". . I think you are going to be sad to discover you paid WAY more than someone will pay you for them. (unless you go to a Horror convention to sell them).
bert
I got the platinum Texas Chainsaw signed one too, but not by choice, only cause it had one of the covers I wanted. But yeah, Bert is correct. Don't be thinking this is gonna get you all kinda of money and stuff, cause it's not. k? ;)
As for the book, I already did a review and it was pretty darn good.
BTW, Bert, what the heck is a 'horror convention'? Surely I have not been to one as it would probably scare the heck out of me.

Fangoria's Weekend of Horrors would be one. . (which is happening this weekend) http://horror.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?site=http://www.creationent.com/cal/dod.htm
or Halloweencon in Salem would be another :) http://www.buffy.nu/article.php3?id_article=5063
there are cons for just about everything !

Thanks for the info, when i went into the comic shop and saw the comics the dealer told me he had other variants. When he told me he had the Platinum covers, I asked how much they where and was surprised when he was selling them not much more than the regular covers. Figured what the hell as they come with the signed posters and all.
I got the Friday the 13th book, loved it, although Jason regenerated a bit too quickly.
