So I was sitting at work the other day and all of sudden just craved a listen to Blur's album Modern Life is Rubbish. I have no idea what set it off, but I just had to listen to it, and I had to sit through the rest of the day and the drive home before I got my listen.
What albums have you craved lately ?

How did u like Mars Volta's new album. I, myself loved it...very progressive. But a lot of old fans hated it.
As for me, I've been craving:
1. Pavement - Slanted & Enchanted
2. Bright Eyes - Digital Ash
3. Radiohead - Amnesiac, The Bends, Kid A, Ok Computer
4. Mogwai - Rock Action
5. Explosions in the Sky - The World is not a Dead and Cold Place
6. Sigur Ros - Untitled

"One Fine Morning" by Lighthouse on CD.
I occasionally get the urge to pop in Sinead O'connor's "the Lion and the Cobra". . . .
that, and The Verve's "urban hymns"
those two for some reason cause the "gotta hear it NOW" reaction you are asking about.
oh, and Barry. . I LOATHE "Francis the Mute". . .I bought it based on everyone telling me how much I'd like it (I only paid $7 cause I found it used). . . I've never even made it all the way thru. Complete waste of my time.
if you like it tho, I recommend "Kaddish" by The Towering Inferno. Much better done, but a similar style.

I actually quite liked it for the most. But some of it was just to :S:S, it's good but it's like a film that last more than 2 hours. You have to pay attention to everything, even the boring stuff.

A few minutes ago I quit playing Half-Life 2 just so I could listen to some Architecture In Helsinki. I'm not sure what brought it on, since I don't even like them that much.

Ah, I see.
In that case - Born To Run. I don't currently have a copy on CD, as I'm waiting for the reissue. Two weeks!
This'll happen to me a lot. I'll be driving around for work and I'll think of a song, and it'll just drive me crazy if I don't have the CD in my car.
Recent ones include Attack of the Killer B's by Anthrax, Dance of Death by Iron Maiden, Keeper of the Seven Keys, Part II by Helloween and Promised Land by Queensr˙che.

Cravings for CDs I have already:
I get cravings for "Appetite for Destruction" and a Cab Calloway compilation called "The Hi-De-Ho Man: 1930-1933."
Cravings for CDs I want:
"A Hard Day's Night" is still on my list, as is the new "Essential Frank Sinatra with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra."
