coments: there's an art mistake in the second page of the end's preview.
X-23 is the one at the left, while M is standing next to her :P

It's a lettering mistake for X-Men: The End: Heroes & Martyrs #4.

X-Men 171:
Emma again? I am so SICK of her popping up everywhere. She was already shoved down our throats the last arc, had a 2 or so covers (one of those to herself). And now she's prominently displayed on this cover where actual team members like Polaris are nowhere to be seen. And people say Wolverine is over exposed. Emma is now more overexposed in things of X related than he is.
Amd something about Milligan's writing I can't just get into.

X-Men the End:
Those have got to be the worst costume designs I have ever seen. Sean Chen is a good artist but he can't seem to come out with a lot of nice looking designs. THey look awkward or clunky. Can't say much about the writing at this point. Things have skipped around way too much for me to care.

P.S. Why does it seem like the editors never seem to catch glaring mistakes like the M/x-23 switch? Don't they review their stuff?

Milligan should always write Emma. His Emma rocks.

I still say that every x-writer writes emma about the same. But hey at least she is going to overtake wolverine with appearances.

Second. She's a gift of a character for someone like Milligan.

I thought Domino's name was Beatrice, not Neena. I'm sure Wolverine called her Bea in the sideways NXM annual. What's the deal?

Agreed. Honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing Astonishing dissolved entirely and the cast scattered between Claremont, Milligan and DeFilippis/Wier.

So am I right in guessing this aimless runaway feral mutant girl is the same one who seduces Gambit? I'm also guessing it's really Mystique.

Emma, out of all the X-men (Or Potential X-men), is the most similar to his late great X-Statix Characters like Edie or Dead Girl.

Therefore he is perfect to write her.
