Joseph Spotlight at UXM.net

There's a new spotlight up for Joseph at uncannyxmen.net. He's not a major character but he was an X-Man so its nice to see him, and since we've just had Xavier we really can't complain about him not being A list. ;) It'd still be rocking to see Magneto himself spotlighted at some point though. :)

Heh, my cousin, mostly because of Joe Maduria's art, usually refers to Joseph as "Bishonen Magneto".

I haven't read the spotlight yet, and I will, but I was wondering if you all thought that the writers originally intended for Joseph to be a de-aged Magneto or AOA Magneto, but later changed the storyline. IIRC, Joseph appeared shortly after the AOA castaways began making thier appearances; for this reason, I always assumed that he was AOA Magneto moved to our world without his memory.

They changed the storyline several times, i believe. He was meant to be MAgneto originally and rumor has it that Lobdell at one point intended for him to be a reborn Proteus (hence the hatred he feels for Moira MAcTaggert when he sees an image of her in one issue)

Cool spotlight. Joseph was a character I had heard about but never actually read about, so this was really informative. He sounds like he had great potential before being bogged down by a convoluted backstory.

I always liked the rumored idea of Joseph being Charles Lehnsherr from the AoA. That would of been great.

Joseph was a cool character, its nice to see a spotlight on him. I wouldn't have minded him turning out to be AoA Magneto actually.
